Please do not use this company. It took nearly 2 months to get the boiler and radiators accurately fixed from December to the end of January. We were left with no heating and hot water in January with a toddler and a being heavily pregnant - we ended up having to reschedule our medically required c-section as we had no heating or hot water. The engineers also installed it incorrectly causing water to leak through the bedroom into the lounge - damaging the floorboards and ceiling. For all of this - they have decided £250 is adequate compensation. Let alone the emotional distress, days wasted for staying in from work to only have no one turn up - this doesn't cover the cost of repairing the damage to our floorboards and ceiling. Here is a break down of our complaint...in the words of Glow Green. 30/11/2021 - Quote accepted for a boiler installation. This was later booked in for 15/12/2021 and 16/12/2021. 14/12/2021 - The delivery driver dropped off the boiler outside your property. You described him as very rude and threatening, you were heavily pregnant at this time. 15/12/2021 - Missed Install appointment due to engineer sickness. The appointment was rescheduled for 6/7th Jan. 03/01/2022 - The engineer booked on 6th Jan declined the job. An Emergency Broadcast was sent out to try and get the job covered. 04/01/2022 - We received a response to our broadcast and booked in the install for 25 / 26th of Jan. You were very unhappy with these dates as there is no hot water in the bathroom and you could not have a newborn without hot water. 05/01/2022 - Glow Green managed to bring the appointment forward for 10 / 11th Jan 06/01/2022 - We advised the install would potentially not fix the hot water in the bathroom as it could be a pre-existing issue, we offered you a phone call with our install team to investigate this further, however, we unfortunately did not hear back. (We later told them that our plumber had said it would, and it has) 12/01/2022 - The engineer had attended to complete the install, however, he had over run and by this date had still not installed the new radiators. He instead fitted the new TRVs on the old radiators. We booked him back in for 13/01/2022 to complete the work. 12/01/2022 - 2 fault codes - F22 and F75 - no heating or hot water 13/01/2022 - The engineer did not show. Glow Green tried to contact the install engineer to return, he did not respond. Glow Green tried to talk you through the repressuring of the boiler, but there was no silver braided hose. You advised that you have a c-section booked in for 15/01/2022 Glow Green arranged for a different engineer to go and fix codes. You called us back once this engineer had left to advised that the code came back on when you tried to shower 14/01/2022 - You advised that you found a radiator leaking. Glow Green tried to arrange for someone to return but unfortunately failed to do so. You advised that you chose to cancel your c-section for the following day 17/01/2022 - Engineer attended the property, their notes are as follows: "Found leak on rad valve. Drained system and replaced faulty Olive. Refilled system and tested leaving in perfect working order" - We were informed that the radiator leak caused a water stain on your ceiling. 26/01/2022 - You emailed me to advise you were settled with your new baby, which you had to have naturally due to the c-section being cancelled to allow for the boiler install to be completed on 17/01/2022. You advised that you are now ready for a date to be arranged for the radiators and new TRVs to be fitted and the damage to be evaluated. 31/01/2022 - Engineer attended and installed radiators and new TRVs and checked the water damaged ceiling. His notes are as follows: “Slight water marks on ceiling, tenant said leak had been rectified by another glow green engineer, was an installation error initially.” You reported to be still having system issues, the boiler wouldn’t heat unless it was restarted. 04/02/2022 - You advised me that you were in contact with the engineer who attended on 31/01/2022 and the boiler is working fine now.

We were supposed to have our solar panels installed on Tuesday. The sales person promised a swift installation. Well, nobody showed up, since then we have called the company a few times to see what is going on and when is yhe next day installation date. Everytime we call someone replies which apparently cannot tell us what is happening and promise to get someone to call us back ASAP.. 5 days later and noone called back and we have no idea on what is going on, with scaffolding around the house and with our parking drive blocked by the solar panels. Such disrespect for customers' and unrealistic promises

i would no star but have no choice to gave it very very bad service and unprofessional, very expensive and ripping people off i still have a 1 year guarantee which will expire this august my boiler didnt work for 3 days, and was out of hot water and heater i call for them and told them i still have gurantee and she told me i have to pay 192 pounds to send someone over and i pay them because i didnt have. a choice so they send someone over and they check quick and switch something on, the job was done in 1 min for 192 pounds, he said “ok done” and was in a hurry to go home i told him why the heater didnt work and it need fixing a few i told him why he no fix it, he said its not his job, he say his job to fix the boiler

Prob the worst service I ever had. I was after the particular boiler due to fittings size. At the moment of sale (mid december) I was insured that these boilers are available and set an installation date. After I took a day off, day before I was called that the company does not have there boilers and installation is moving for a week. The next week the same. After that they try to changed my order to another boiler. On my question, can they guarantee that it fits the size, no answer. In two week original boiler I asked for, finally arrived. Installation was books .... and .... did not show up. Two phone calls to the company - they do not know where the people are. Result - my kitchen is a mess for 2 month. I v lost 2 days of my holidays. Boiler is still not installed. Two and half month! Avoid the service.

I purchased a boiler through glow green and the care policy for maintenence. I had a problem with the heating not coming on when I set the thermostat. Glow Green sent me a video to watch to see if I could repair it myself, no engineer nothing a video, not even a follow up call ! In the end I paid for an independant engineer who came and diagnosed a faulty receiver. The year before this I took a day off from work for an appointment for a boiler service, the engineer didn't show up, no phone call nothing he just didn't show up ! I should have learnt my lesson then.

The internal installation of the boiler was ok. That could not be said the external pipe work. I had spoken with company and the installing engineer on how I wished to done. They completely ignored what I said. They also refused to rectify the issue when I complained after the installation. Would not recommend this company.

My old boiler which was 24kw of 19 years old was warming my radiators better than your 30kw vaillant which I paid so much. I signed for completion because, I don't want to go through further stress. The engineer who installed is not responding!!!

This review is not about products supplied or any installation, I'm sure they are perfectly fine. I'LL keep this to the point.... I contacted Glowgreen energy to get a quote for an 8.2 kwh battery, an AC inverter and all necessary extras, plus install. On the initial phone call I mentioned the products I wanted and explained that the garage, where I wanted the install, is seperate to the house. I specified that I needed a LoRa device to wirelessly communicate from the meter to the battery due to the seperation of the garage to the house. The customer service person didnt know what this device was, however an explanation jogged their memory from another install. I got a quote and I asked if it included everything!!! Including the LoRa. The reply was YES. I received the quote via email but with the wrong item on it. Phoned up again and then got the quote sent with the correct product. All following communication is now via email.... I asked about adding an additional 5.2kwh battery and how much it would add to the quote. This is the reply.. "Hi, adding a second battery at 5.2 KW would increase the quote cost by a further £2500. I personally would not feel like the added storage is needed as you could add this down the line." So, apparently I don't need it and I can get it later! Did I ask for an opinion? Surely it would cost more to add at a later date. Oh, and why dont they want me to spend more money with them??!! At this point I am slightly worried, so I again ask if the price is all inclusive, including the LoRa device. Here is the repy... "Hi, The EM115 meter is included but LoRa is not needed unless the battery is a long way from the mains supply." So, now it seems that the initial conversation about needing the LoRa device and the seperate garage is long forgotten..... Once again I explain everything, the garage, the LoRa, the all inclusive price etc.... I get a reply that all of this will need to be checked and they will get back to me. Here is the reply.... "Hi, I am happy to add the LoRa on for £100 for you as I do feel myself that it will be needed." Apparently they now feel I need it. At this point I have lost confidence, and to make matters worse the extra £100 is apparently a good will gesture. We go back and forth as I try to understand why their recollection of all of the above is different every time I receive a new reply via email. It's there in black and white and yet they keep digging a bigger hole. To top it off, this is another communication from them. "Hi, As mentioned I included everything as standard but the LoRa is not a standard feature on the battery install as most people install them in close proximity to their meter and when you came back to me regarding the LoRa I checked and I came back to you straight away with the price. If the updated quotation is beyond your budgeting requirements then I fully understand and I am sorry we couldn't move forward on this." Yep...apparently it's all about my budget and nothing to do with their incompetent service. At no time until I had to question it, did they mention the the LoRa isnt "standard" and not part of the quote. I ASKED SEVERAL TIMES IF IT IS ALL INCLUSIVE, INCLUDING THE LoRa! After much consideration :-) I have decided to go elsewhere. I suggest you do the same.

Brought a boiler with them because our old one was broken beyond repair, I have never dealt with a company that is so incapable in my life! The first engineer didn’t turn up the second one couldn’t finish the job, the third guy couldn’t make sense of what the other one had done and finally the last man took two days to do “ a one hour job.” It was seven days of hell and literally not one person back at Glow Green was helpful, they didn’t know what was going on and just blamed everyone else. It was a total nightmare, I’d never recommend them and I deeply regret ever having even heard of the company. To top it all off I have a boiler that doesn’t make very hot water and have to boil the kettle to have a good bath in winter.

4 months and counting for PV solar panels. Always take a message, no one rings back. Quoted 3 times and I’m expected to foot the price increases. No accountability from their leadership, no “I’m sorry I’ll match the price we had in November” The leader of the scheduling team is completely inept and ineffective. A company with poor systems, no leadership and ineffective customer relations. Not happy. Still not had my install - it’s now in March - apparently.

I assigned Glow Green for my boiler upgrade. Their cost was competitive and they contact you to discuss your requirements & how you wish to finance the project. However after this point it went all down hill rapidly. The boiler upgrade which was scheduled for 2 days, took 7 days. They assigned an inexperienced local engineer that I could have found myself on gum tree. I launched an official complaint about concerns with workmanship & the extreme inconvenience the project was having on my day to day & costs. The complaint team responded, asking me to allow the engineer to commission the boiler and insist on me signing the paperwork despite work still being needed with gas pipes. As they was alerted by 2 engineers that the boiler was more powerful than required and as a result requires upgraded gas pipes. They promised they would investigate and conclude their complaint after, but this hasn't happened. I have a working boiler that doesn’t feel like an upgrade. My Recommendation is to spend a bit more and go with a more reputable boiler establishment for better peace of mind, this company looks glossy & organised, but underneath you are not guaranteed to get a top engineer, as they are like a agent that assign jobs to local engineers

The engineer who installed the boiler had taken the thermostat I paid for with him saying I didn't need it as I could control everything with the thermostat for the underfloor heating. However I then realized I had no way to control my towel heaters so I asked them to come back and install it. We're now one and half year later. I had to follow up with about 50 emails, 30 phone calls, 4 days waiting for an engineer that didn't show up and 3 times an engineer visiting who didn't know what to do. I still don't have my thermostat installed and Glow Green is not responding anymore at all.

They were unable to provide the boiler which they initially promised. When the boiler did not arrive on the day of delivery, I phoned them and after long wait and after several calls, I was informed that the my boiler is not available and I should choose alternate company.As I was waiting for 7 days without heating in my house and had paid half of the price for potential boiler,I compromised and chosen an alternate boiler. On the day of installation an engineer arrived but was not sure where is the boiler. Customer service was themselves not aware. I cancelled the order eventually. They have no communication among themselves. Still getting emails that engineer has been asigned to my work. Sometimes get email that few objects have been left in my house after completion of work. Just auto generated emails. Very unprofessional people.

Logged a call on Wednesday 5th of Jan I was assured someone would call the same day. Nothing happened a day later I received an email saying this is your ticket number bla bla. Yesterday Tuesday that is 6 days later another email with details how to use the FAQ and video to resolve problems. Great !!!!

Cant believe how this company just covers up bad reviews with fake ones instantly. Scroll down, u'l see what I mean. I guess they are a sales and marketing broker. That's what their best at. I urge everyone who's been ripped off to report it to trading standards.

After doing some research, it looks like they fake reviews regularly to keep their stars up. They only show up on places they can control the comments. I dont usually write reviews however I felt the need to warn others on this one. Seems to me they are the brokers who push for the sales. So they managed to sell a boiler with install to my dad, luckily i got him to do buy now pay later rather than paying 50% deposit at point of sale. The sales man Jamie promised many things that were a lie. After completing the order the install date changed 3 times. We were left without hot water for 3weeks until we were fed up and cancelled. At point of sale we were told the install was booked for after 4days. This was one of their many lies. Before purchase they were excellent in communication and contacting was easy however this changed instantly once we had purchased. They would just leave us on hold for over 1hour until we hanged up. Absolutely disgusting behaviour from this company, also filing a complaint with trading standards for these scumbags. Stay away at all costs.

DO NOT EVER USE THIS COMPANY. They have the ABSOLUTE WORST customer service I have EVER experienced. They have such a high staff turnover that no-one on the phones knows what they are doing. One staff member literally told me there was no-one in the department who had been there longer than 2 days and as such didn't know how to help. Staff constantly ignore emails, and actively LIE to customers. I have been waiting THREE MONTHS to have my air conditioning fixed by Glow Green who can't even be bothered to provide an update. It took them 7 and a half weeks to even contact the engineer about the problem, and then tried to get him to order parts through the warranty to fix the faulty unit, and had to have an engineer explain the SIMPLE fact that it is THEIR JOB to provide the correct parts and contact the manufacturers as GLOW GREEN are the purchasers. Absolutely USELESS when you call the company - you simply get lied to, told a ticket has been opened, and then they promptly close the ticket without resolving the issue!!! A child would do a better job of running this company. AVOID AT ALL COSTS IF YOU DON'T WANT TO SPEND YOUR LIFE ARGUING, CHASING AND BEING LIED TO, WITH BROKEN FAULTY PRODUCTS!!!!!!!!!!

For the past 20 years my home has been heated more than adequately with a 15kw boiler. I approached Glow Green for a quote. I told them this. Twice on the phone and once by email. They insisted I needed a 24kw boiler. I have some knowledge of heating systems having worked in this area for over 20 years. An oversized boiler leads to excessive gas usage, cycling, and unnecessary green house gas emissions. The salesman (with all of his 2 years "experience") even tried to tell me I was wrong and that my old boiler hadn't been heating my house. Avoid this company, they don't know what they are doing and are using the "bigger is better" excuse.

AVOID THEM! Horrible company with even worse service. Dishonest about how long it takes. Had to show up a week ago but didn't as they are too busy even after they promised that we are in the priority list (let me mention that we are living without heating and there is 3 years old girl at home). Yesterday late evening paid the full amount over £2000 and asked is someone definitely coming tomorrow, they said yes, definitely, unfortunately no one showed up as apparently engineer's are having a covid (great excuse). Now they are talking about next Friday, maybe earlier, maybe a bit later, can't promise nothing... Absolutely ridiculous. Wish we could have choose a different company. Avoid these scammers!
