“Misleading “New” Boiler – Still Seeking Resolution I purchased an electric boiler from Glow Green in 2019, which was described and invoiced as new. I have recently discovered that the boiler was actually manufactured in 2009. The boiler has now failed, and replacement parts are no longer readily available due to its age. I am pursuing the matter through the company and my finance provider under Section 75, but as of now, it remains unresolved. Potential buyers should verify the age of the product and ensure all details are fully disclosed before purchase.”

“My 78-year-old mother pays Glow Green monthly for boiler maintenance. What followed was one of the most appalling service experiences I have ever encountered. Her boiler failed on 23 December. Since then there have been multiple engineer visits, repeated leaks, loss of pressure, and the boiler shutting itself off. Engineers attempted repairs that did not work, blamed previous engineers for fitting the wrong part, and suggested internal damage may have been caused as a result. Despite this: The boiler has continued to leak water (including near electrical components) My mother has repeatedly been told engineers would attend — and then no one turned up. She has been left without heating during winter, after being explicitly told she would not be. The lack of communication is staggering. Different stories and excuses are given. Promises are made and not honoured. Engineers attend without parts. Parts are “on order” but then do not materialise. Only after weeks of failure did Glow Green offer a small goodwill payment so my elderly mother could buy a heater — instead of actually fixing the problem. This is not just poor service. It is a complete failure of care towards a vulnerable customer who was paying for cover and left repeatedly without heating in winter. We have now had to escalate to Citizens Advice and arrange independent support because Glow Green proved incapable of resolving the issue or even managing it competently. I would strongly advise anyone — especially those with elderly relatives — to avoid this company.”

“Well what can I say about glow green, I contacted many solar suppliers some quoting extortionate costs. Glow green made contact and the journey started from there, The account manager Liam Stromski was open transparent and honest, he advised me on what I needed what the coast would be, I accepted the offer and yhe installation journey began. My day of installation came and was rained off, but was quickly re planned and installed, the installation guys not sure of the names but OMG they were fantastic, friendly and advised on everything that was happening, Would I recommend Glow Green 1 million percent, good luck everyone associated with the business. The owners must be super proud of all the employees and subcontractors that the utilise”
