“I found the company efficient and friendly in organising a visit for repair and the engineer knew his stuff, This would have been a 5 but no alternative solutionwas offered when found that parts needed were obsolete so repair could not be done”

“Responded promptly to my request for a repair. Gave me a morning slot,starting at 8.00 am,but I got a text from the engineer saying he would be here between 7.00 and 8.00/ So I had to get up early. Arrived 0715, examined the machine. Told me it was beyond Economi rc repair - which I accepted as it was over ten years old. Got a bit confused when I later got a message after the repair asking me if my machine was workng well now. Clearly whoever sent the message hadn't bothered to check if the machine had been repaired. In soite of that overall excellent prompt service”

“Many thanks. Very prompt scheduling of engineer visit. Engineer clearly knew what he was doing and quickly resolved the problem with our Liebherr fridge freezer. Would def use again if required”

“Prior to coming out I shared the model number of our oven and explained the problem. When they arrived, they said they could not mend the oven because it was too old and they could not get the part, but still insisted on us paying the call out charge of £93.54. I think they should have checked the age of the machine prior to the visit and told us that they would probably not be able to mend the machine if it required new parts. I would never use this company again.”

I have sent a private reply to you as I cannot match you in our system. I will certainly look into this as all of our staff are required to check the age of the appliance on the initial call it is a field that is required to be filled in by the team. once you have confirmed I can investigate further - thank you

“I feel that the overall service was very poor. Having paid £85 up front as Glotech preferred, the day organised (Friday 10th March) was cancelled due to illness of the technician. The re-organised date (Tuesday 14th March) was equally disappointing as I was unable to receive notice of the technician’s arrival due to a bad phone signal. Although a Glotech lady called me again at 12am to say that the technician had arrived at my address, he didn’t wait for me to meet him despite assurances from the lady that she would ask him to. I think that if I have the patience to wait four days due to a cancellation from Glotech then Glotech should have the patience to wait half an hour for me to meet with their engineer. Also on the Friday I had any possible absence by me covered by my landlord but he wasn’t able to cover me on the Tuesday. I think it is unreasonable for Glotech to expect working people to cover times when there is no guarantee of a Glotech engineer’s arrival. When an engineer arrived on Thursday 16th he discovered what the problem was but my experience of the preceding days prevail.”

It is very disappointing when any member of a working team is off ill and the impact it causes however these situations cannot be avoided we have apologised for that - your appointment was remade. due to the illness several of the engineers appointments were affected and obviously if the engineer waited for half an hour at the property of customer it would mean that as the day progressed he would not be able to attend other customers who also had bookings and were waiting - we do understand this was frustrating for you and apologise for the inconvenience however the engineer did attend to complete the repair on the second appointment which you were not home for and so he came back on the third booking and as you said he did diagnose the problem. we feel that 1* is very harsh given the circumstances we do however thank you for the feedback.

“Excellent service. Immediate phone response. Engineer booked immediately. Instant diagnose of fault. Immediate order of new part. Call to say part obtained, and New appt. booked. Engineer fitted new element very speedily and tested oven. All worked. Again excellent service. Wish every company worked liked yours. Will book you again if and when we get any more problems. Thanks very much . D & J”
