“The engineer arrived as expected and examined the fridge. He was very clear about the procedures that needed to follow as the fault could not be rectified. He took photographs of the fridge seal which was split in 2 places. He left instructions and a number to call if I was not contacted in the next 2-3 days after he would submit his report with photographic evidence. At the end of the week I made a call to Glotech. I am still waiting for Glotech to get back to me with the outcome of the search for replacement parts.”

“Engineer polite and pleasant. He thought the dishwasher was working after his first visit but had to return the next day when the same error message appeared. He then informed me that the repair would cost more than a new machine. I was grateful there was only a one of labour charge.”

“I rang Glotech because my Miele washing machine was making a crunching sound on rotation. I had an engineer sent from repair4u. He came ,swirled the drum and said it was damaged. 7 minutes later he left and said could not repair as it needed a new drum. Cost £104 for call out. Later they rang me to say the drum with another small part cost £800! . I ordered a new machine. What I recanted was the paying full call out when he did not repair and left with 10 minutes. They should have charged me for half an hour only. Won't use either company again.”

“Our rented property needed the handle on the washing machine repaired. We have a policy to fix our machines. The repair was sorted in 2 days by a friendly and very helpful man. I cannot speak more highly of the service we received and will certainly use them again.”

“First the date of the original callout was put back from Monday to Friday. Second we were told to expect a call on the Friday between 8-9 to alert the expected arrival for the repair. We arranged work schedules accordingly to take time off. We did not receive a call. I called at c9.30 and spent about 20 minutes without getting a response on when to expect a visit. Eventually we received a call later in the morning it would be 3-6pm. Next we heard a call at 5.50pm to say he would be late. The problem was a straightforward one (the spark generator had gone). I'm sure it could have been dealt with in ten minutes. He decided to dismantle the hob completely and string it out for half an hour (still meaning the labour charge is £190 inc vat per hour). The full fee was £149. Then he tells me that he spent time calling me for 15 minutes this morning at 8.15 but the line was engaged. This is a lie. We have an answering machine so he could have left a message. We were not tied up on the phone at this time. Needless to say we will not use you again.”

“Replaced the heater in our Beko washing machine and got the motor going by removing fluff. Good advice for not letting it happen again. Warranty runs out in 5 months but will renew as in 20 odd years never had a faulty dishwasher before.”
