“Good service and quality. However, the courier service left a lot to be desired. Unable to use their tracking service so missed the initial delivery. Rescheduled for the following day - did not arrive. Contacted courier and promised delivery next working day - did not arrive! Called courier and a delivery driver brought the parcel to me on his way home. Not the best - I wasted 2 full days waiting for this delivery.”

“Purchase of Miele Twin Dos liquid. I usually purchase from Miele direct, and invariably experience trouble navigating their website. 'Gerald Giles' was a new name to me, so I gave him a try. Very easy to order all I needed, competitive pricing and speedy delivery. I will be using this source of supply in future.”

“The downsides were (1) I received a phone call on a Tuesday asking if we could take delivery within the next couple of hours. I advised that this was not convenient but anytime over the next 4 days would be. I was told that the only slot available all week was the one in 2 hours time. So, we had to change our plans to accept that one. In other words, the delivery was made at GG's convenience, not ours. (2) The adjustable legs on the fridge-freezer are quite flimsy and too short so that we have had to put cardboard under a front leg which doesn't look great. The upsides: (1) The delivery men were pleasant. (2) The fridge-freezer is OK apart from the legs issue described above.”

It appears we called you on the same day you placed an order online with us as we had a cancellation, so we would be able to offer you a same day installation if convenient. “Thanks for the opportunity to review Gerald Giles. I was unsure initially about using GG as the Bosch vacuum cleaner I was researching was at least £40-50 more expensive on many other sites, and seemed too good to be true... However, it was true, and good; a great service and smooth delivery, and GG will be my first port of call when I next need any domestic appliance. Thanks again, ADC”

“From my first telephone call to them, I had nothing but polite, helpful information from them. Over several calls answered by different members of staff I have had such help in choosing an integrated freezer. Due to age and lack of mobility I couldn't visit their shop so with their help and online shopping, I was able to make the right choice. I will definitely use them again.”
