I was told that the black box installed in the car would not be used to track my location unless the car was reported stolen. However the company used the box to track the location of the car in order to increase my premium. I was not happy with this blatant deception so I was forced to cancel my policy with WiseDriving.

driving well but only one premium went down but I think if someone is getting better and better, you should appreciate them more

The device that I’m using for the car insurance is so vunerable you never know when it’s going to work or not. The app software constantly crashes! I’m most certainly come aug2018 will Not be renewing! When it says it’s recording your journeys and you go the dashboard in app and it shows the journey wasn’t recorded! It becomes so frustrating! I wish I could of turned back time because for the space of saving £10 extra a month I wish I had gone with the other insurer! The down fall is that you are sooo restricted to how you drive it’s almost like you have to become a robot every time you get in the driving seat!

My first telematics box that was fitted by wise driving didnt work so i had to book a day off work for another box to bw fitted and now it doesnt seem like its been activated so i cant monitor to see how i am getting on with my driving

Acceleration parameters are ridiculous. In order to keep a perfect score I cannot accelerate further than 1500 rpm in first and second and 200 rpm in 3rd. There are pensioners tailing back behind me speeding up so slowly.

Poor feedback on my driving score. I have a 95-96 score, yet I have not had a reduction in my insurance cost.

Well we didn't get much benefit out of it. Like the point system is a waste of time. Come on you can't go fast on a 1.3 litre car anyway for its safe driving. Just a another way to con people.

My premium has only ever been reduced once despite consistent good driving. I enquired about why this was and no on ever answered my query.

Not happy with the portal and app. Can not log in via phone to check my wisedriving score. Also, I previously had an excellent score with my old car and now that I have replaced cars the score varies, even though I take the same route to work everyday.

I’ve got the most expensive quote out of everyone I know and there are people with bigger engines and more expensive car. I understand it’s because of my age and location but I was under the impression that good driving would help bring that down. For the first few months I concentrated hard on that but since my review I’ve only saved £100 making my insurance still really expensive. It hasn’t been reviewed recently so I’ve stopped caring about how well I drive as there’s no reward factor

Left in November after a no fault accident. Despite sending in letter from the underwriters showing claim closed and fully paid out I am still being chased as you have not closed my account. You could not offer suitable cover for my new car.
