I feel like I got a good deal with Wise driving, just got £200 back for driving well. My parents can monitor my driving on the app so they like it.

I paid for the policy on the 6 Sept 2019 with the start date of the policy on the 7 Sept 2019. Almost immediately after I signed up, I decided that driving with a telematics box was not something I would be happy with. I sent an email thorough their contact us web page, requesting the cancellation of my policy within minutes of the transaction. I would have phoned but this was about 10pm and the phone lines were closed. When I had not heard back after 2 days, I phoned them and was told that I should have used a different email address to contact them which would have produced a quicker reply. As a result I have not been able to cancel my policy in time before the start date and have had to pay for cover. I feel it is completely unacceptable and unfair to expect the customer to know which email address is preferred and therefore would generate a quicker response. Unhappy customer.

I think wise driving is very good and would recommend it. Because it help you by giving you feedback how you can improve and if you listen and improve and your driving is good your premium changes which is very good.

Selling my car and the costs to cancel are ridiculous. Even though I have had a policy for a few years they still want to charge for the box, surely this is now paid for. Spoke to customer service agent today and she could not even give me a cost I will need to pay to cancel until the actual day, even though I said do it as if today. I need to make sure I am not out of pocket selling the car. She also could not explain the commission cost. Seems you are charging commission when its already been included in the monthly payments.

Everything I have done with wisedriving has been a shambles. Avoid using this insurer at all costs. Terrible , rude and arrogant customer service. General incompetence in their methods. They cancelled my policy without calling me once to warn me because their black box readings weren’t coming through. They claim because they sent me an email asking me to contact them it was enough to cancel my policy even though I responded to the email in the given timeframe. Bear in mind they sent me a similar email the month before and after scrambling to call them in fear I was told it was an error on their side.

I found the information about the insurance by the internet, It is a good idea with the black box but, i think "it's a must" for all drivers!!! e.g. I drive from 1989 with my European driver license, and I change to UK one this year, I think if I handle with the left side driver, is not to be worries about the right side.

Wisedriving have kept in touch and the dashboard has allowed me to monitor my driving score. After two months I received a refund on my insurance which was well received. Excellent insurance company.

Wise driving have been easy to be insured with! I have had no issues at all and with the black box policy it’s not so strict when you have to stop urgently! Or accelerate safely. My score this month was 81 out of a possible 100 and I revived £151 back off my yearly premium! Amazing

Impressed - price was fair with other insurers although still higher than we would like. However young female with no no claims of her own this was what we expected. Pleasantly surprised by the honesty of the insurer to actually refund premiums based on driving quality. Didn't think it would actually happen.
