We’ve been with Zurich as employees recd 10% discount for 17 years but Zurich wouldn’t confirm cover for us being away longer than 30 days Without negotiating!! Home Protect puts our minds at rest with unlimited ‘unoccupied’ Cover The total cover is extremely comprehensive & @ £191 pa more reasonable then other insurers with all the bells & whistles included. Hope we don’t have to use it but happy in knowledge we have HIME PROTECT to look after us. Regards J & J Clarke 18/7/20

I missed my annual renewal due to lockdown so when I picked up again had to frustratingly go through the whole new policy process. Finally got to quote and actually found it to be £37 cheaper than renewal price you sent me ?? Very pleased - but, very concerned that reward to loyal customers looking to renew is to charge more !

The customer service was ok, although it took a few calls to get it sorted. I would still recommend HomeProtect.

This is my second year with Home Protect. As usual I did a price comparison on the internet and came up with a slightly better price than my renewal. Strangely enough it was with Home Protect. I contacted them but unfortunately they were unable to carry on the same policy and match the price online. Even the adviser agreed with me that this was crazy. The adviser was friendly, polite and helpful as he could be. I haven’t had a need to claim, hence the 4 stars.

Very friendly service. The man who arranged my insurance, was knowledgeable, and if he wasn't sure of something, went out of his way to help me get the answers I needed. Overall excellent, and pleasant service. Would recommend.

They were the only company to offer a policy for our student house with more than your average number of people in a house. It was way to use to get a quote and posting was easy

Went to renew home and contents policy and 2nd year was 80% higher than 1st year with no change in circumstances. They rely on customers being lazy and not checking the renewal paperwork to rip you off. Don't use them!

Sorry if we've not been competitive for you Grant. I understand it's frustrating but there are lots of different factors that go into calculating premiums, based on each individual risk assessment. Very good price was offered on renewing, plenty of time to think about renewing, no pressure was put on me to renew. I did find better quotes, but found them not as good value so I decided to renew for another year.
