“My second year now with home protect, the auto renewal was very straight forward, on receiving my renewal quote it had gone up but a quick phone call for it down to a satisfactory price to save me trawling through compadre the market, have not made a claim so cannot say how that would go.”

“Overall a very good and fair service offered by the company. It was easy to choose and amend requirements via the website. Cost was a bit higher, but that was down to my personal circumstances, but acceptable in comparison with other providers.”

“Good competitive prices. Just one thing. We did not received a renewal letter and we were automatically renewed. While the price stayed competitive, we would have likes being warned, before being automatically renewed.”

“The price of the combined contents and buildings insurance was highly competitive last year. I searched for a better deal this year...I found that the slight increase in the premium was still good value for the coverage I have chosen. A month or more before the renewal was due, I received an email reminder. It was clearly explained that there may be cheaper deals out there. Documents were emailed and an electronic signature was sufficient for the "credit" for paying the insurance premium monthly. I am happy to stay with HomeProtect.”

“We’ve been with Zurich as employees recd 10% discount for 17 years but Zurich wouldn’t confirm cover for us being away longer than 30 days Without negotiating!! Home Protect puts our minds at rest with unlimited ‘unoccupied’ Cover The total cover is extremely comprehensive & @ £191 pa more reasonable then other insurers with all the bells & whistles included. Hope we don’t have to use it but happy in knowledge we have HIME PROTECT to look after us. Regards J & J Clarke 18/7/20”

“This is my second year with Home Protect. As usual I did a price comparison on the internet and came up with a slightly better price than my renewal. Strangely enough it was with Home Protect. I contacted them but unfortunately they were unable to carry on the same policy and match the price online. Even the adviser agreed with me that this was crazy. The adviser was friendly, polite and helpful as he could be. I haven’t had a need to claim, hence the 4 stars.”
