“The shed was reasonably good quality however there aren’t enough fixings with the pack. I had to go to b&q for another window latch too as it only came with two”

“Pleased with the item that we purchased and the speed in which it arrived, but unfortunately some parts were damaged which I managed to repair. This was the fault of the carrier that you used, maybe the packaging could have been more substantial.”

“Delivery of my fence panel order was not within the time frame that I was expecting or that was printed on my invoice, which has had a negative impact on my project. Instead of receiving my order within 4-8 working days, it is scheduled to be delivered 14 working days after my order (which also included three weekends and a bank holiday)”

“No updates, no communication as regards delivery. item just turned up luckily when I was home but then the driver said he needed help to get off lorry. Not what was expected”

“The product arrived 2 weeks later than stated, absolutely soaking wet and unusable until it hopefully dries out. It was as if it had been submerged in water (Is this still guaranteed not to rot?). The item was delivered (by Tuffnells ) two streets away from the delivery address and just dumped on the drive without any notification to myself or the incorrect household. My wife and the lady from the wrong address had to struggle to move the item to our house. Very disappointed with the delivery and condition it was received in.”

“May I offer this advice to buyers. 1. Give your mobile phone number in your order. 2. Don't expect any communication after your order acceptance e-mail from the couriers. 3. The order will arrive when the couriers decide not under the control of Garden Street. 4. Expect the delivery to be at the upper time don't believe it when it states 3-7 days go for 6-8 days. This said my experience with the staff via e-mail was good and they did try to assist, the order was well wrapped and protected from damage and I am pleased with my purchase.”

“Arch arrived on time, was a good price and looks good in garden. However construction was difficult and some of the parts were somewhat rough. We had to buy some additional fixings to ensure archway is secure. Instructions brief, found ourselves yearning for IKEA, amazingly!”

“They delivered my planter (eventually) and were nice on the phone when I called to chase the very late planter. However, the delivery was just left outside my communal front door (luckily it did not get stolen).”

“Delivery prompt and courteous. Very nice quality bench but did have a few minor niggles. On insertion of the shelves noticed the corners are pre-cut to fit against the corner posts. However, there is no slot cut for the two other vertical posts. Not a major issue if you have a good DIY husband like mine! Also the zinc shelf is raised at back to stop water/debris penetration but the sides have no such lip and fit flush to the sides. Rated accordingly purely due to these reasons.”

“Excellent prices and free delivery but let down by a poor IT system. I tried to find out where my delivery was up to. To do this I had to log on but the web site would not accept my details even though I knew they were correct. I then clicked on 'forgot your password?' hoping to get in this way and entered my email address. Nothing happened. I waited for an email. Nothing. Did this several times, each time having to input the annoying Capcha letters and numbers. Still nothing. By going back pages and trying diffetent things I eventually got a 'email not recognised as belonging to an account' or some such message. Ridiculous, as they had taken my order and sent a confirmation. At this point I gave up. Fortunately the delivery arrived next day. Needs a bit of work on it does that website! A bit frustrating but overall a good service.”

“Delivery was ok but would be better if am or pm delivery was specified. The harbour itself is quite sturdy but it could be improved by pre drilling holes. I found it quite difficult to put together and definitely need two people. Some of the wood was split but used wood glue. Overall good quality.”

“Service and delivery were good and a well-made product. My only niggle was the fixing kit only had 2 mirror plates. For a product this size and weight, I would have thought 4 should be the minimum. Also insufficient screws.”

“Prompt service but condition of goods was barely acceptable. Product had mould in places due to lengthy storage in damp conditions. One screw missing which is time-wasting and irritating.”

“Kelkay product was exactly as I expected, but delivery on a pallet was far from ideal. My early orders from Garden Street were delivered by Hi-Ab so the products could be dropped over the wall into my garden. Now I have a very annoying pallet on my driveway which can't be moved until I can get to the bottom of the bag. You should specify exactly how the delivery is going to take place on your web site so that your customers can make an informed choice.”
