“Efficient service, Shame that part of the order was missing BUT delivery of missing parts was ok.”

“Delivery was swift, earlier than expected and the gate is as described. Otherwise, we are disappointed that the fixings are not black metal/painted to match the gate and the packaging for the fixings was damaged when delivered. Fortunately only one screw was missing.”

“Product superior quality. However, trying to get through on the phones was a nightmare. On hold over 10 minutes, then got cut off as it was 4.45pm and the phone just rang out - people had gone home! Called back following day, on hold for over 15 min. Shame really as up to this point they were excellent.”

“Someone was available to discuss an issue with the order, they followed up with me as promised. This made me happy. The item itself is lovely & my kids love it. However delivery being delayed by 1 week and therefore missing my children's birthday did not make me happy. This order was placed in plenty of time in line with Garden Street dispatch time. I'm also a little surprised there was no offer of explanation despite requesting this or discussion of compensation due to failing to comply with the original terms of my order.”

“Placed an order over the phone and the staff where great. On receiving my email confirmation it explained I would be contacted by the courier to arrange a delivery date as would need to work from home to take delivery. Received a call later in the week from the delivery guys standing outside my door with no prior arrangements. Explained we were informed I should of had a call and the delivery driver said they weren't ever instructed to do this, therefore ending up with my delivery of fence panels being left on my from garden and the mad dash to try and finish work early to get home. Garden street need to sort clear instructions with their couriers as this could end up with people's deliveries being missed or if you're unlucky, items stolen off your drive if its left unattended.”

“I ordered one wooden single side gate and fittings,these were delivered in two days,great hate and very fast delivery.I also ordered double wooden driveway gates and fittings,which say 7 to 10 day delivery underneath.Now I have received an e mail saying 21 to 28 days because handmade,you can have refund if not happy.So if I cancel and order from someone else it will take just as long.You seem like a good company but let me down and don't promise what you can't deliver,thanks.”

“One of the reason's why we brought this item was we thought it was unusual having the curved arch and it looked good quality. No problem with the ordering/receiving of goods. When unpacked it looked like it had been stored for a while, as was very dust/dirty and all the screws that were fitted to the unit had gone rusty. When putting it together the tops of the arches both sides could have lined up better with the uprights than they did. (you need a new/better Jig tool for lining up the drilling of the dowel holes to better line up the joints). Looks better now that's it's had a coat of paint applied to it. Quality/price wise:- Shop around.”

“The arbour was delivered on time & the driver carried it to the garage for me to await assembly on site. A woman friend who finds DIY an enjoyable challenge put it up for me. It would have been impossible without power tools. We were surprised that the holes for screws weren't even marked, let alone pre-drilled, but I suppose this would have increased the price. All was OK until the back lattice which had warped leaving a gap varying in width between a few mm & a finger (see photo)*. We had to bridge this using 2 thin bits of wood from the pack which didn't seem to have a function, & a couple of flat/angled brackets from my oddments box. 4 of the screw threads ground down so we had to replace those too. But the final effect is very nice & I have to say it's good value for money. *photo shd be rotated 90deg right”

“All was fine until we arranged a delivery day stayed in all day and nothing arrived!! After phoning the next day we were told it would arrive that day which it did please try and improve your delivery booking system.”

“I had to call Garden Street as slide arrived damaged due to not being packaged properly. Garden Street swiftly delivered a new slide, which again was not packaged properly but luckily this one although dirty was not damaged.”

“Easy to order. Good price. Delivery took 8 days. Quality a bit concerning and hope the components stand up to the 180kg weight limit. Only time and use will tell so fingers crossed. A really good comfy sized chair.”
