“From my original phone conversation to the prompt, efficient and cheerful installation of the 15' x 8' Lifetime shed, I could not fault the care and concern of everyone involved in this purchase. “Still waiting for goods. Don’t reply to my many requests for a delivery date. Spoken to staff who promised to get back to me on Monday, then again Tuesday so I’ll have to try again tomorrow. Most unsatisfactory.”

“Whilst I ordered a shed from Garden Street I received no subsequent information as to when it would be delivered. I chased up but nothing was forthcoming and so I cancelled my order and went for a different shed from a different supplier. Garden Shed needs to keep its customers properly updated!”

“We are very disappointed in the product. It was not until we fixed onto the wall we found how weak the structure is. Completely unsuitable to hang a towel on or anything other than very light clothing. Very disappointed.”

“Very fast delivery, the customer service was second to none. The palram canopy that we purchased was much much better than we thought. Very easy to put together, there were a few damaged pieces but that was swiftly rectified. Would highly recommend this product over the moon with it, no more taking for cover with the normal British weather. All year around bbq’s”

“Rowlinson Winchester Arbour. First the plus points. The design is unusual and attractive. When you have finally assembled it, it looks good and does the job. Customer service Neither Gardenstreet or Rowlinson seem to take any interest in the process of getting your arbour to you. I waited seventeen days before receiving delivery information, and that came from the carrier. Quality The quality of the timber would give firewood a bad name. Consequently warped parts are a problem. In my case one of the cross pieces on one side was warped, making fitting it into the rebate very challenging. Quite a lot of the fixing is done with feeble wire staples. One of the seat bearers had warped and pulled away from the staples, needing to be screwed into place. I have little confidence in the long term viability of these staples, and expect to need to reinforce things with screws as time goes by. Assembly Warped parts aside, if you are adaptable and have a reasonable level of DIY experience assembly is not difficult, and single handed assembly, as I did, is quite feasible. I have seen a number of reviews saying the instructions are poor, but provided you understand basic woodworking terminology they are adequate. I printed and laminated the instructions which was a life saver when I assembled my arbour on an intermittently wet day. Conclusion For the price the quality of timber and manufacture should be better, but as I said previously the finished result is attractive.”
