Delivery service was excellent with driver checking each item in pack as it was unpacked and unloaded. Product appears to be excellent (although, as yet, still to be assembled) However, my issue is with the estimated delivery dates that are quoted.....as I'm not able/prepared to assemble this myself, I had provisionally arranged for someone to undertake this and had scheduled his availability around those quoted dates......as those dates turned out to be pretty meaningless, I've had to go to the back of his "jobs-to-do" list and now have a sizeable stack of parts sitting outside my back door!!! I realise if you're going to be self-assembling this isn't going to be so much of an issue but, for me, it's turned into a frustration!!! Based on price and apparent product quality I would be likely to order again but next time I'll very definitely be more conservative when regarding likely delivery dates.

Product is very good, very happy. Delivery was very late, outside the time specified. When chased no one could advise status.

Ordering items was fine. Delivery needs improving. After making order i received an email confirming order, i then waited a week before i had to ring to find out about delivery, i was told it had been dispatched to DHL and they would contact me. I heard nothing until about 5 days later i came home and found the fence panels up against the wall of my house.

The service was actually very good, but not from Garden Street. They handed my purchase direct to the actual manufacturer who contacted me and kept me informed about every step up to and beyond delivery. So Garden Street gets full marks for choosing a manufacturer that kept me fully informed.

Dear Martyn, Thank you for your review. With some larger products, like lodges and cabins, these are dispatched directly from the manufacturers, via larger carriers. Rather than liaise through ourselves, being contacted by the manufacturers directly in this instance ensures a more efficient delivery process. Fast delivery , fantastic item BUT delivery let the Company down . The delivery drivers did not have equipment to move play house and could barely lift it so left it in road outside my house on a pallette and I had to run every piece in individually and hope the house was not hit by a passing car :/ not the service I expected after paying nearly 500 pound for this item

Overall experience was okay, but delivery company let garden street down by not being upfront and informing them that the item would not fit on the van on delivery day and therefore the customer was let down waiting for item which didn't arrive until after the weekend.

Delay on the process of my order but money was taken from bank account, so I alerted them as I was worried that there were corrupt/bogus company, but a very lovely gentleman phoned me and apologised for the oversight and item arrived first thing the next day. Very happy apart from the initial stumble, would use again.

Hi, I purchased a Rowlinson overlap shed, this arrived for the weekend. I set the shed out, all parts arrived however the shed had not been protected in open storage so the roof panel was saturated, a back panel had a splice repair where a section had splintered off and there was mould on a door panel both sides. Ringing Garden street on a Saturday was a none event as they were closed to communicate. I decided to erect the shed repairing the items as I went along. Assembly was straight forward (quicker with 2 people) and I replaced some screws with better ones and I completed the shed with cross bracing to help stabilise the completed unit. Note you need a magnifying glass to read the instructions. Overall OK, be prepared to take you time and invest in additional £15 of bits to finish it off.

Buying a Rowlinson shed. Best prices here with original communications good except that nobody wanted to divulge their name? All went a bit sour when we found Rowlinson's assembly instructions were incorrect! :( Got a sarcastic email, after advising this to say, we will collect and credit if item is still in original packing!! Problem solved by winching up with a helicopter. Buy from them on price only. Never buy the floor for a Rowlinson shed. You can make your own for £80 - £90 quid less. John

If I was working with this company I would use a different courier company as the one you use cannot give you a delivery time shorter than one day. This meant I had to take a whole days leave and the product arrived well after the normal working day.

We ordered a shed, which we are very pleased with. The purchase went through fine and we were given a delivery estimate of 15 to 20 working days. But once I received the order confirmation (on day of purchase) I received no word at all from anyone until the 20th working day, when I got a call saying it would be delivered in 3 days time. It seems the shed was made in Australia, so I can see why it would take so long. But some communication in between from Garden Street would have been appreciated, so that I could arrange my life over those weeks without wondering if plans would have to change. I guess I've just got used to better customer communication from other online purchases.

Garden Street service was fine, exactly as expected. Palram Shed is now built and was straightforward, about the same length of time as other reviewers (2 people about 8-10 hours). Little concerned about the noise from wind, and far from insect-proof. The plastic feels very thin, and the metal structure isn't as solid as i'd like. At this stage i wish i had gotten a Keter shed instead (and compromised on size as i chose not to get Keter as they didnt have my preferred size), however it should do the job.

Order process required a phone number so delivery company could get in touch. This didn't happen and product just turned up one day. Not a big problem but not as promised. Otherwise all OK.

Initial contact was good. Arranged delivery between 8 and 6 on a Friday before a bank holiday. Stayed in all day but no delivery. No contact at all from courier. They eventually turned up on the Tuesday morning and by chance happened to catch me as I was on my way out. Great product but was definitely let down by the delivery service.

The service of Garden street was good, and despite one minor problem was delivered within the timescale stated. I love the design and the toughened glass windows are a plus but I was not very happy with the quality of the product, the panels were just held together with oversize staples (and the incorrect screws were sent with the summerhouse) and it needs alot of rubbing down as some parts were very roughly finished/ edges of wood broken. Luckily we know a joiner who strengthened the whole thing, so now it looks great. One point, in very small writing right at the bottom of the instructions, it says to 'treat the wood within 3 months otherwise the guarantee will be void', I feel this should be made clearer in the description.

Bought Rowlinson large chicken coop - like other reviewers found manufacturing faults with cutting and fit of wood. This coop should be a market leader but is let down by factory process. It took nearly 8 (enjoyable) hours to assemble though second time around would be quicker. The floor did not fit the coop it was nearly 1cm too big. the lid did not fit the nesting box either because of 'non linear' cutting. these problems are not due to wood swelling with weather (it has been very dry anyway) but down to quality in detail of wood cutting. Roof fit not perfect either but adequate. Had discussed with company before purchase - told I could return if problems but being otherwise complete too much time and effort to disassemble and return so got friend to help it fit. phone call to company to inform was returned so no complaint about customer service only beware of product. you NEED electric drill and tools to make this - I didn't have one - so beware if you cant borrow one. I love it now its together though!

Ordered a log store as they could deliver really quickly. Sadly one package was missing. Team at Garden St did sort out the problem really quickly though, but the manufacturer could not send out the package until 2 weeks later - very disappointing. Not sure who screwed up the delivery, but I would give Garden St the benefit of the doubt and would probably use them again for the service. Might just stay away from that particular manufacturer.

All parts of this order were scanned and quality checked before dispatch, so we are disappointed that one of the packages of your Large Log Stores became lost in transit. Further to our regular correspondence, in this instance the replacement parts would come directly from the manufacturer, who unfortunately were not able to dispatch prior to January 5th. We did however ensure that these were promptly dispatched at the earliest opportunity, to ensure this issue was resolved as promptly as possible. We had major issues with delivery, but this appeared to be the fault of the couriers TNT. Sean did try to sort it out, but it took some time to get our shed delivered. Perhaps the choice of courier should be reconsidered.
