Dreadful company to buy from. Purchased garden swing advertised as in stock for delivery. Waited over 6 weeks with no communication from the company to inform me what was happening unless I phoned them which I did numerous times. Took 3 people to "investigate".Finally they emailed to say the swing was lost and they had no stock so cancelled the order. Poor customer service.

Ordered a summerhouse and was promised the delivery of 1st April which we took holiday for , we then got a call to say it was delayed and didn’t know when it was coming . They company then said could only deliver on a thurs or Friday with with our shift patterns was going to mean July so we cancelled order and are making one instead . It may be the courier to blame but was very disappointed with our order and experience

Very poor shed the main beam that holds the roof up was broken in half the plastic windows don’t even fit very poor

Nice website, easy to order, nice receipt. Ordered 7 March, paid for, but item not received and they wanted a review. More than five weeks after ordering I called and talked to a very nice polite young man who said he would check on the order and call me back. Well he didn't call back but next day there was an email advising of delivery and my order was magically on my doorstep less than 24 hours after my call. I love the bench it was easy to put together and looks good. However, happy as I am to have my order I am still extremely disappointed with the lack of communication from this business or anyone trying to deliver. I seriously doubt that I will order from Garden Street again as it was not worth the aggravation. If my first order was not any kind of priority then enough said. Communication is key to any business success and I felt that it was sadly lacking.

Did order a Tall boy chest of Drawers in February, was delayed many times got to April decided to cancel order and got refund no problems. The only thing I will say had I known this item was coming from abroad I would never had ordered it and on the day of cancellation I got someone who told me the truth that it was delayed due to shipment which I appreciated that information rather being told on every email you will hear from courier between 5-10 days and the shop of supplier is shut due to Easter absolute rubbish ! It was delayed because of shipment. So can’t comment on the item but will say I got refunded no problems

Very good service in every way, but, I bought a tree of life ,metal bench seat. Only when I read the instructions did it say it must not be left in rain as it will rust!, the purpose of buying a non wooden seat was to allow it to stay outside, uncovered. I believe this information should be quoted on the website as it seems an important fact about this article

Summer house was poorly put together with various nails protruding. I had to pull a lot of nails out and refit them corrrectly. The floor was damaged and had to be repaired. I emailed Garden street about the damage but no reply! Would not recommend.

This review relates to a Rowlinson Garden Products "Stretton Arbour" bought about 4 weeks ago. Having almost completed assembly about 2 weeks ago, we encountered a big problem constructing the hinged seat - it was impossible to do it as instructed - and so contacted both Garden Street and Rowlinson (with photos) for advice. A response was promised by GS in a matter of days after consultation with R. AS OF TODAY WE HAVE HEARD NOTHING, despite chasers. In fact, there were a few other significant problems with the product packaging and assembly instructions, which made it difficult to build the arbour (details on request). All in all - product quality and after sales service - 2 out of 5.

Whilst the Hampton summer house was at the budget end of summer house's the quality was exceptionally poor a lot of remedial work was required

Shed is badly made. Damaged all over, but was in a hurry for one that didn't have a 3 month delivery wait. I've added photos of SOME of the issues

My delivery was cancelled at 4pm the day before I had taken a day off work organised a tradesman to install my summerhouse and wanted it for a birthday celebration at the weekend all I got was sorry !

I ordered my outdoor Costa from Garden Street as the league time was only two weeks according to the website. I was informed that there would be a slight delay and then heard no more. After chasing again, I was told there would be further delays due to large numbers of orders. Despite trying to get someone to give me an idea of tome frame on the delay to either days or weeks, I still cannot get an exact answer despite asking twice. In the meantime I have received several emails asking me to rate me order. Funnily enough, as I still have not received my order 6 weeks after order, the review is not good. I cannot believe that I have been repeatedly asked to rate something I have not received.

Waited 4 weeks with no contact, chased by email to request update on order. They took 48 hours to reply only to tell me that I have to wait a further 3 weeks - even though the product I ordered has come into stock and you can buy on the website with 10 DAYS shipping!! Why do I have to wait 7 weeks then??

Some the drilled holes were too short to receive the screws. Having a drill and the correct size bit I was able to rectify the problem. This let down an otherwise very good product.

Shed slight damage not surprising as delivery men just threw it down onto paved area no email to advise of delivery they were banging on the door at 6-45am.

Cupboard was damaged but we only found out when we were assembling it. It was too difficult to return and the damage was not huge so we decided to keep the cupboard. Would be wary about ordering again.

Ordered a 7x5 shed ( purely cos it was the ONLY company that didn't have 10-16 week delivery) spent most of today banging in nails that they couldn't be bothered to do. Removing nails poking through the wood. Put together and there is a gap underneath, the 'windows' have dents in them! If I didn't need it in a hurry, I would have sent it back!
