The item arrived without batteries as advertised. It was a week before I heard a response and needed to use item in coming days, so had to go ahead and buy batteries, only to be then told I was then being sent new ones. Not a major issue but seemed clunky and slow resolution that cost me a small bit of extra money and hassle.

Product was delivered late. It was dropped off delivery truck so that one corner was damaged.

Very poor. Let me down by not supplying the item I purchased. Offered an alternative that was not viable, refused to supply a suitable one unless I was prepared to pay considerably more. One of the staff I spoke to was ok but the other talked over me in a patronising way. When I commented that this was not a very good way to treat a customer, he said in an offhand way, 'we have hundreds.' They have one less now.

Don’t rely on the 1-2 day delivery promise. Ordered a BBQ on a Saturday for a party the following Saturday and it did not arrive. After chasing up during the week, I was assured it would arrive in time but then got a call from the delivery company saying they had not received the item until late and could only deliver after the party weekend. 2* because Garden Street were nice and helpful on the phone and processed refund quickly. However they should not be promising 1-2 day delivery if they can’t deliver on it.

It’s been over a month since my order with a 5 working day delivery was made and the money was taken. I have still not yet received my order and every time I enquire about delivery I am told that the delivery has been delayed from their supplier.

Communication about delivery was a little poor, first I knew the chairs were being delivered was when the driver rang because he couldn’t find the house. As for the chairs themselves, not over impressed, as the wood used seems to have been recently cut and not dried, therefore, despite two coats of Cuprinol, started to split within one week. Have my doubts as to whether it is Scandinavian redwood too.

4days post order I received an apology email that the product was out of stock. I am not aware if that was true but it sure did disappoint me! At least I was refunded quickly so I will give them that!

Poor customer service. I had an issue with the gazebo and two of the extension arms were damaged. I wrote to Garden Street and although i received an acknowledgement stating that they would respond with 72 hours, I have never received a response.

3-7 working day delivery time given. Had to arrange a refund after 11 working days as the product was needed for a specific date.

We bought a bar through garden street but all communication about delivery was through another company who was supplying the item. Despite emails and telephone calls, I couldn’t contact the company and on the day of delivery they were 4 hours later than the time they stated in their text. Very poor service. The bar has not been assembled yet so can’t comment on that yet!

I placed an order for a WILARM - garden dining/armchair. Because their supplier let them down twice by sending broken chairs & requesting me to repack the pieces & wait in for their collection, it took over a month to get my money back & find an alternative chair

What is the point of sending me a review when I haven't received the goods, not even a confirmed delivery date which seems now to be the responsibility of the delivery company. They have has my money for some , offered me a refund due to delays, but since I chose to wait the only communications have been to answer me when chasing. I accept there have been issues but not that I am not kept informed.

Unfortunately my experience shopping at Garden Street has been unsatisfactory up until this point due to the following reasons: > Website quoted 7/14 days delivery on in stock item - Customer purchased item and received no response for 2 Days - Then sent code via email to book delivery date - First Delivery date available was over 5 weeks away (not 7-14 days quoted) around the 7th July > No contact available so disappointed as already paid out by this point and so booked a slot on the 7th July then booked a precious days holiday off from work and waited patiently > On Tuesday 6th July ( 5 weeks later) at around 5pm I received a short telephone message telling me that my delivery would not be arriving the following day - No reason given just a blunt comment telling me my delivery would now not happen for a further week and had been moved to the 14th July > Tried to call before 5:30pm and find out the real reason for postponed delivery but conveniently could only get an answer phone as they had left for the day! > Disappointed and frustrated as it was so late in the day I was unable to cancel a precious days holiday as well and was also upset at not receiving my purchase > Sent an email to the supplier (Shire) it rebounded and then a text message to the contact number used to inform me that i would not be receiving my delivery - I have still not recieved a response as I am sat at home wasting a days holiday > Not sure still why my purchased product has been delayed (probably blame Covid) seems to be the convenient excuse but suffice to say did not find the experience so far that professional > Need to try and make arrangements again now for the 14th July Delivery but have no holiday left to take uneccesarily and just hope the Goods arrive to a high standard and with no further issues!

Swing chair - Poor packing of product leading to items broken and missing parts. Back rail on seat snapped in two pieces (in picture covered in brown tape so we could assemble it) Cracked arm rest Missing bolts and washers

Customer service responses are polite so i've given 2 stars in line with the rating that Garden Street ask us to use. However I would prefer to give 1 star. The rest of the service is very poor. Items were in stock at point of ordering with max 28 day delivery time. Ordered early May. Repeated communications and questions, order moved to "dispatched" status but have been told today that the items are not in stock or available due to a stock 'misallocation' and that the delivery timeframe is indefinite. Refund offered which i have taken up. Fundamentally not a good enough service and over a month wasted on our garden project.

Item arrived damaged had to call 6 times before any thing got done, told we will sort it out and call or email you, they never do, eventually got money back, very poor customer service.

From reading the reviews, It seems as if delayed delivery is an issue with this company. Order for a shed placed on 16 April 2021. At that stage, I was notified that the product would be 'released' on 29th April 2021, and I could expect 3-5 Working Days Delivery. I had building work scheduled based on this promise. Today is 8 June 2021 and the shed still has not arrived! I have been told it is because of shipping delays on the supplier's side. I had one call from their supplier at the end of April saying the delivery would be delayed. Then nothing. I have emailed Garden Street several times for updates. They write nice emails and make it sound like it is not their fault, and they keep offering a refund if I want it. But I got a good deal so I don't want a refund - they know that. I want the item that I purchased, which is now six weeks overdue and with enormous inconvenience. Why should I have to keep chasing them? I don't even have their supplier's contact details. I asked Garden Street for a discount voucher for the inconvenience and have been told to contact them when I see something else I want to buy. Frankly, they should give me a discount on this item that I purchased in good faith.
