Customer service responses are polite so i've given 2 stars in line with the rating that Garden Street ask us to use. However I would prefer to give 1 star. The rest of the service is very poor. Items were in stock at point of ordering with max 28 day delivery time. Ordered early May. Repeated communications and questions, order moved to "dispatched" status but have been told today that the items are not in stock or available due to a stock 'misallocation' and that the delivery timeframe is indefinite. Refund offered which i have taken up. Fundamentally not a good enough service and over a month wasted on our garden project.

Item arrived damaged had to call 6 times before any thing got done, told we will sort it out and call or email you, they never do, eventually got money back, very poor customer service.

From reading the reviews, It seems as if delayed delivery is an issue with this company. Order for a shed placed on 16 April 2021. At that stage, I was notified that the product would be 'released' on 29th April 2021, and I could expect 3-5 Working Days Delivery. I had building work scheduled based on this promise. Today is 8 June 2021 and the shed still has not arrived! I have been told it is because of shipping delays on the supplier's side. I had one call from their supplier at the end of April saying the delivery would be delayed. Then nothing. I have emailed Garden Street several times for updates. They write nice emails and make it sound like it is not their fault, and they keep offering a refund if I want it. But I got a good deal so I don't want a refund - they know that. I want the item that I purchased, which is now six weeks overdue and with enormous inconvenience. Why should I have to keep chasing them? I don't even have their supplier's contact details. I asked Garden Street for a discount voucher for the inconvenience and have been told to contact them when I see something else I want to buy. Frankly, they should give me a discount on this item that I purchased in good faith.

I ordered two items. One arrived very quickly, the other didn’t arrive. When I rang up about it, member of staff did not seem particularly interested and claimed that it was less than the agreed number of working days since the order. She was wrong about this, but didn’t apologise when I pointed this out to her. She claimed the item was on its way to me, but she couldn’t get the tracking information to work. She promised to ring the warehouse later that day. She rang me back much later to say that the item had got lost. She arranged for a new one to be sent out. This came quickly, but without any communication. It just turned up one day. It was lucky we happened to be in. I haven’t finished putting the composter together, but it looks as if two bits are missing.....

Longest lead times ever. Really disappointed. Waited for months for the item to turn up. In the end, I gave up and went elsewhere. On the positive, the refund came through quickly.

Haven't got my garden seats yet and I'm sure they'll be lovely, but delivery is appalling. Not appeared within there stated time and then still not appeared after chasing, twice. So, they need a different delivery company! They themselves were helpful on the phone. I suspect it's out of their hands.

The main reason for ordering via Garden street was the promise of quick delivery. It has only become apparent, after me chasing, that the promised delivery time is totally untrue. Really frustrating and had I known I would have bought elsewhere.

Ordered garden furniture and was told delivery would be in 7-14 days. Two months later it has only just arrived. I wasn't given any updates until I contacted Garden Street directly, and then ended up calling them every week to see if it was back in stock yet, Garden Street staff were always courteous and helpful and the problem was clearly with the suppliers, but they could have been more proactive - and should have updated their delivery timescale on the website. When I asked whether I would receive any compensation for the delay they told me to contact them if I wanted to make a purchase in the future and they would see what they could do. Not a particularly great incentive to shop with Garden Street again!

arrived damaged,parts missing,didn’t want to accept it was there fault,long delivery time and still waiting for replacement parts over a week later!not a happy customer and won’t use again.

My order was pre order for 14th may now it is 23rd may. Still no word from garden Street when I can expect it or reassurance that it is in your thoughts.

Ordered a garden arch only half turned up. After several emails still no sign so asked for a refund. Return courier company was very quick however after a week still no sign of a refund so another email sent. I’ve now been fully refunded. I would have given 1 star but the lady I spoke to on the phone was very apologetic hence the extra star.

Unable to review purchase as still waiting for item to arrive. Went past the estimated delivery timeframe and so I had to chase up and was told it could be up to another month. It would have been better customer service if someone had contacted me to let me know that the order was going to be delayed rather than me keep looking out for it when in fact it had never even been despatched. Hopefully will be able to provide good review of purchase - once it turns up!

Thanks for your email, but it seems a bit strange that you have taken my money and the goods won't be delivered for another 23 weeks!!!! Very poor delivery times and you can't put it all down to the Nora Batty virus!!!!! Cary Barnes

Ordered four picnic benches, two arrived in good condition, one arrived damaged but luckily all the pieces were there, one arrived missing the bench seat and legs pack (1 of 2). Delivery driver said he would be back the next day with the missing pack. No delivery. Contacted Garden Street to say the bench and legs pack was missing and they said they would send one out. Nothing has arrived, three weeks later and another two emails have been ignored. Still waiting ...

After ordering from Garden Street and paying in full I was given a delivery date which was initially acceptable. However I then received an email saying that my item was delayed. I sent 5 or 6 emails and called but found that I didn't get a response or was not given the information I asked for. the item did eventually arrive many weeks after the original date. I did not receive any apology or explanation. Not massively impressed by the service to be honest

still waiting on my order was due 26th April then delayed then took several phone calls to even get an answer and every time i was told i'd be emailed about it and then nothing happened.

I can't review a product I've never received. No attempt to keep me updated, the due date comes and goes and then new dates come and go... Always down to me to chase up. Does nobody go through backorders and keep customers updated? Basic customer service lacking.

Item ordered didn't hear anything for ten days, chased by email twice to be told item lost in transit and now out of stock Refund received promptly. Disappointed.
