Item wrongly described, still waiting for collection and refund

Nothing wrong at Garden Street but it took TNT 4 deliveries before I received order. I had expected a telephone call from courier as per your confirmation e-mail. TNT informed me that they do not contact customers re delivery. Your information needs changing. On the agreed date for 3rd delivery I sat in all day until I received a message from you that TNT had got no response and left a card. TNT DID NOT CALL AT DOOR THAT DAY AND NO CARD WAS LEFT. GOODS WERE RECEIVED ON THE 4TH DELIVERY

We do use external carriers for our deliveries, and some of the smaller items do not always require a booking on call. With our larger items, the carriers contact the customer directly to arrange a suitable delivery date. Hi Andre, Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to hear that nobody has got back to you just yet. Our best recommended parasol is the Glendale 2.5m Aluminium parasol, that comes in a choice of three colours. The green is similar to the green of the cushions of the Plumley set, and it will fit in the 5cm hole on the table. You're website clearly states 'Free Standard Delivery on all orders' yet I had to pay for my delivery.

While we use various carriers to try and maintain free postage and packaging across mainland UK we do unfortunately have an additional charge on some postcodes. We appreciate the inconveniences of this, however. upon placing the order on our website, there is a Postcode checker, which will update your order total with any additional delivery charges prior to purchase. We purchased a Shire Highclere 10x8 summerhouse. Delivery time was a few weeks which was okay. I booked a day of holiday for the delivery which arrived in good time. After I began assembly I realised that a door was distorted, we had parts that belonged to someone else shed (post code written on the major parts didn't match ours) and the roof was two left sides but no right and no glazing. I rang Shires and they dispatched some replacements which arrived a week later. Yet again I took time off work. In the second consignment we had glazing and replacement door but not right hand roof. It took a further 5 days to get the roof. During this time I had taken several days off work and also found that the porch roof section was 30mm too long and required cutting down. It is a great shed but what a drama we had getting it completed.

One split cushion - I contacted retailer - I did not hear any further and therefore was not offered a replacement cushion. I did not hear any further from them.

Product displayed as in stock but wasn't. I did get a full refund after a couple of days. Good contact from office but could have updated website!

Upon placing the order on 08/09/16, this was showing as in stock on our website, however, of the stock we did have this did not make the allocation due to orders being received earlier on in the day. The delivery was deferred three times. Once "because the shed had fallen off the delivery truck", and the other times for no reason. It finally arrived three weeks later than promised.

We ordered an Arbour in August, which arrived within the expected delivery time, then unfortunately the problems started. Several of the wood panels were covered in a green substance, and the wood had some splatter type staining (looked awful). We contacted GardenStreet with some photos, and they agreed it was faulty, and that they would arange collection for a refund within 24 hours. This came and went, and after chasing they eventually told me that they will collect it within a few weeks, and will only then process the refund. In summary, they took payment back in August, and will only refund me in their own good time, hopefully sometime in October. Really wish I'd ordered elsewhere.

Negative: Parts of the Shed were damaged. However the packaging was intact. So this means they were not damaged in transit but damaged before packing but nobody checked before packing them. I need the storage so have no choice but to make repairs myself. If I had the time I would have arranged for the whole product to be returned and either a refund or replacement. This is disappointing. Positive: The phone service arranging delivery was friendly.

Waited over a week for the product.Only when I phoned you was I told that you didn't have the item but your site showed you had them in stock.In the mean time I had ordered a cover for the chimnea from elsewhere, but it is now surplus to my requirements as I have now ordered a different chimnea from another company that will not let me down.

Sadly after 2 failed arrangements to deliver our greenhouse will no real concern or intervention by the company we will probably have to cancel our order. 2 days off work waiting for promised deliveries that do not arrive it just not acceptable.

Well you wouldn't let us shop with you as despite living on the mainland UK you would not deliver the item to the far north. Disappointed, as the same item was delivered to someone else in this area a few weeks before.

Damaged item received. Had to wait ages on phone for reply. Ordered replacement. Had to ring again to order replacement. Had to wait ages again on the phone for a reply. Had to wait 3-5 days for replacement item. Item 'just turned up', no email informing me of despatch. Slow to respond. And I haven't yet built the tool shed so no idea if any more damage or if all pieces are there!

Product okay.delivery a joke parcel arrived opened at both ends luckily nothing missing this puts me off from ordering again from you change your delivery agent. Regards Laurence Davis

11 x fencing delivered on time, but 22 u-shaped clips omitted and only delivered ten days later after 3 telephone calls and no feed-back between calls.

Goods did not arrive when advised. You were slow in finding out what had happened and letting me know the position and in the end did not respond at all. My neighbour eventually delivered the goods as they had been left with him - despite his protestation that he had ordered nothing.

Communication on delivery arrangements was unacceptable. Garden Street called to advise which day delivery would occur and that delivery company would call ahead to book delivery slot. This did not happen and goods showed up unannounced.
