“Gabor is one of the few brands that do women's size 9, so you’ve got me for life! But the quality and value for money is always good. The boots I bought recently are so comfortable - beautiful soft leather and a plush lining. I love them!”

“In general, I find Gabor shoes to be of very high quality, and elegantly styled, and when fitted properly, extremely comfortable. I like that there are two "wide' options, as I have severe bunions and need a wider toe box but still would like to be fashionable. The wider of your two 'wide' sizes usually works for me, and I appreciate when these wide shoes come in an almond shape, rather than the clunky rounded toe. My only complaint is that when you search wide shoes in the website it does not specify the G or the H width, and I'm forced to guess. Only the very widest work for me and I've had to send several back for this reason. I would also like it if you considered a new, bunion friendly shape with a wider span where the bunion is, and tapering elegantly going toward the toes. But in any case, I love your shoes and hope for more wide ones..”

“OMG, I had an event coming up where I needed to be on my feet and running around for 14 hours-I wore these shoes for the first time at this event and WOW, they were amazing, not a pinch, blister or sore anything??? I’m delighted-thank you from my feet!!! 🤗”

“I already have a pair of Gabor trainers size 6 bought last year in John Lewis in Kingston in copper. I ordered the identical trainer so the same size but in red and they did not fit. I could barely get the zip on the left shoe to zip up and it was a bit too tight. On the right shoe it was again too narrow but this time I could not zip up the boot at all! So too risky to buy online if the shoe in theory should fit but does not. I hope you find this helpful.”

Thank you for your review. We are sorry to hear that you found your shoes to be smaller than one you had worn previously. They will feel tighter when you first wear them as the leather softens and they mould to your feet, however it should not be so tight that you cannot do up the zip. I am not sure if you have come onto the correct review as this order was for boots. I have had a look at other reviews for the item you did buy and all say well fitting. “Very pleased with my Rachel boots. Had to order a size down, normally 5.5/6 (39) and size 5 was plenty big enough. Ordered these as at 5'2" higher leg boots are not comfortable around the knee. These are upper calf height and very flattering as well as comfortable. I walk 20mins to and from work a day, and these are really comfortable. Only critisism is the noise of the zip clasp clinking against thevzip when I'm walking through the office!”

“Gabor Bolan boots so comfortable I’ve ordered 2 more pairs in navy and tan ! Great for walking in and neat and smart to look at. I have trouble finding comfortable footwear (my feet) but these are amazingSue”

“Lovely boots, soft leather, but I decided to return them as I prefer a higher heel. Would have exchanged for "Maybe" style, but unfortunately out of stock in size 3. Customer service was patchy: a young man promised the earth and delivered nothing, then talked to a young lady who was excellent, and most helpful. I think that returns postage should be pre-paid on such an expensive item.”

Thank you for your review. Unfortunately we do not have our own courier and use either Royal Mail or DPD to send orders out for customers, where we cover the postage. “I ordered a pair of wide fit boots that were too narrow!! I took a risk knowing I’d need to pay for return postage. My feet are a G and the supposed H+ was too tight. I’m disappointed”

They are an H fitting and you may find that if you would like to try on a half size larger, this will give you the extra area within the shoe that you need.
