“I love Gabor shoes. I'm a stewardess and I have tried just about every type of court shoe available and always come back to my Gabor courts, they are comfy, solid, stylish and fit the requirements of my job. I've had many other pairs of Gabor casual and dressy shoes and love them, they are gorgeous to wear fit well and look amazing.”

Thank you for your review. You can take any returns back to a Charles Clinkard store and have up to 12 month for unworn items to be brought back for full refund. You can also buy a label to collect + on our website where for £4.49 you can return items using a tracked service. This covers up to 10 Kilo so you can send several pair back at one low price. If you have several pair to return and wish to have a speedier delivery and insurance, and use Royal Mail, it can be quite costly. You can though choose any courier of choice to keep costs down. “These shoes are my lifeline instead of trainers , Following a spinal stroke I feel wobbly and these shoes support my feet and look smart as well as being very secure on pavements with the ridged sole My only comment is sizing , the first pair I bought and lived were 6 1/2 so I reordered the same however this new pair is definitely bigger and I shall have to put a heel grip in them ??”

“I ordered 4 pairs of boots as I find I need to try different styles for fit and looks. I returned 3. The suede pair I kept are ideal, as described on the website, comfortable and a perfect fit. What I hadn’t realised (probably should have read the terms and conditions) is that the customer pays postage to return items. This cost me £12.”

“Not sure what to say if I’m honest, bought a pair of trainers back in the summer, so ordered a pair of ankle boots and I have had to send these back twice before the final pair were okay”

“I love my other two pairs of Gabor ankle boots. I ordered the same size in my recent order and they are way to big. I was fortunate in finding a friend who could wear them so I didn’t have to pay return shipping. I am hesitant to reorder.”

“Looked nice and comfortable, unfortunately and quite unexpectedly they stretched after just a week of wear. The upper leather is quite thin. The laces are extremely slippery and keep undoing at the worst possible time.”

Thank you for your review. We are sorry to hear that you feel that these shoes have stretched. If they are too roomy inside, an insole may help as this would decrease the area within the shoe creating a more snug fitting for you. With regard to the laces, once you fasten them, you should not need to use them again as you use the zip to take the shoes on and off. Could you maybe firmly secure the laces to hold them in place if they are coming apart? We do hope that you get much more enjoyment from these lovely shoes. Kind regards, Janice - customer services
