“I have had a pair of Gabor boots for a number of years and have been very pleased with them. They have worn extremely well and I decided to update with the same brand. I like the fact that Gabor boots have different width fittings around the calf. I think trying shoes on is important but I live quite a distance from a Clinkard shop. Buying online was a good option. I was well informed of the delivery and the boots arrived on time. The outer packaging was good but the lid of the box was very crushed. It was a very poor first impression for a pair of expensive boots! The contents were undamaged however. The boots were not a good fit sadly and I returned them and was dismayed at having to pay. I then made the thirty-five-minute journey to try them on. It seems Gabor are a generous fit and a size smaller would have been better. I didn't have this information at the time of ordering online which may or may not have been helpful.”

“I have been buying Gabor shoes almost exclusively for decades. They fit me really well, are stylish and so comfortable to wear. I recently bought heeled court shoes to match a wedding outfit and as well as looking elegant I know that I will be comfortable standing and walking in them all day.”

“The quality of the sandals are excellent and very comfortable, I have a rather narrow foot therefore, the strap that goes across the toe area was rather baggy. So I have to return them.”

“I’ve bought and worn Gabor boots and shoes for about 20 years. Quality leather or materials with quality finish. Not the cheapest boots and shoes but because of the quality materials used and good workpersonship they last years, I have a pair of leather knee boots because I’ve looked after leather and heels I can still wear them after 20 years, they’re timeless classics to any winter wardrobe.”

“The order took a long time to arrive and the item was marked when I opened it. The fit was very narrow. Not a standard width. I returned the item and it has cost me £9 to get the cheapest tracked service. I did not realise that returns were not free.”

We are sorry that you found the shoes to be narrow, There is a link on our website where you can buy a Collect Plus tracked label for £4.49 which covers up to 10 kilo of returns. Royal Mail also second class with additional tracking usually come in at around £3.50 from customer. Our delivery is free but we do ask customers to cover the cost of the return, we are sorry to hear you were charged so much. If a faulty item was received, you can contact customer services where we can help with postage, we hope that this will help for future reference. “This is the second time I have purchased Gabor trainers. I find them so very comfortable. I can put them on and walk in them straight away. None of the 'wearing them in'. The wider fit is better for me and it is not always easy to get the style I would like so I was very pleased you had my size.”

“These boots are well made with lovely soft leather. Comfortable, and easy to get on, which is a plus as I frequently have a problem with other makes. I went up a half size to accommodate thicker socks. Very happy with the style and quality.”
