I have had a pair of Gabor boots for a number of years and have been very pleased with them. They have worn extremely well and I decided to update with the same brand. I like the fact that Gabor boots have different width fittings around the calf. I think trying shoes on is important but I live quite a distance from a Clinkard shop. Buying online was a good option. I was well informed of the delivery and the boots arrived on time. The outer packaging was good but the lid of the box was very crushed. It was a very poor first impression for a pair of expensive boots! The contents were undamaged however. The boots were not a good fit sadly and I returned them and was dismayed at having to pay. I then made the thirty-five-minute journey to try them on. It seems Gabor are a generous fit and a size smaller would have been better. I didn't have this information at the time of ordering online which may or may not have been helpful.
