“look gorgeous, just like the picture, easy to walk in and good quality, however after wearing them for only a short while the red band going across the top of the foot began to rub and actually cut the top of one of my feet so you may need to wear plasters while you wear them in, just a warning.”

When wearing a new pair of shoes/sandals or boots, we would recommend wearing thema round the home for a while to ensure the fit is good and also to break the materials in. You would wear them at different parts of the day as your feet can change depending on whether you have been on your feet or resting. “I was very disappointed to received odd sized shoes and one shoe was faded. I telephoned to complain and a very he.pful young lady dealt with my complaint very efficiently. A new pair of shoes arrived the next morning including prepaid postage to return the incorrect order.”

“The shoes came on time . They are nice but though I have always taken a size 5 they are too big and even wearing socks they slip . They are suede so maybe this makes a difference but generally disappointing as I wore them twice before realising just how slippy they are so unable to return .”

Hello Thankyou for your review As size is personal there is no guarantee of the perfect fit as many factors such as the last used to construct the shoe, the materials and also external factors can affect this. If the item has only been tried on around the home we are able to accept back the items for a refund as long as you have the original packaging and the invoice that came with the items Unfortunately, we are unable to accept back shoes which have been worn. “Delivery and organisation very good hence 3 stars. Ordered beautiful Gabor wide fit moccasins. They were perfect and definitely would have ordered more pairs. Except they were absolutely NOT wide (E) fit. So upset and disappointed. Why advertise shoes as wide fit when clearly they are not?”

This particularstyle is a UK D fitting, which is a wide fit in Gabor. Gabor do manufacture an extra wide fit which is D+. We hope you find an alternative style which is suitable within our range. “The shoes I ordered were advertised as wide fit. This, they were not compared to other brands offering wide fit. Lovely shoes but very disappointing.”

“I have bought this style in black twice going back to 2018. Size 6 G was a perfect fit. I am wearing them now and they are so comfortable. The summer version (beige snake) I bought this Spring are so tight around the band and impossible to fit comfortably. Couldn’t believe it is the same style. Sent back at a cost of £4.49 but more annoying is that the price sticker inside the shoe was £65 and the on line price is £75 which is what I paid ! Not very happy really!!”

Thank you for your review, We are sorry to hear that a different colour was not as comfortable for you and hope that you find something that is a better fit. With regards to returns, the link on our website for the £4.49 that you paid, covers up to 10 kilo so that you can return several pair at the same time. you can use Royal Mail or take back to any Charles Clinkard store if you prefer. You have up to 1 year to return unwanted items for either refund or exchange. I can confirm that the soes should have been labelled at £75 and apologise that there was a label on them for £65, we would have honoured this for you by refunding the difference, and apologise that the label was on them. Once your return arrives, we will refund within 48 hours and email to let you know that this has been actioned. Kind regards, Janice - customer services

“The shoes I ordered were too big so I had to return them. I was disappointed that I had to pay money to return them when most other retailers provide a free returns policy.”

“Shoes received within estimated time frame. They fit but are incredibly tight. I have had to arrange for them to be stretched. Once lockdown is over, so am unable to comment further.”

“Whilst very pleased with the shoes they went around the country to finally be delivered to me. I feel Royal Mail. to blame as my postman felt that they had probably been manually missorted. O ne day I was told they would be delivered. No show. Next day they ended up north, then Leominster then Birmingham and FINALLY back to Worcester when they were finally delivered.”

“Far too narrow. UK standard width is D, and Gabor shoes are a C+ which is unusual given their big selling point is supposed to be comfort. Very uncomfortable at the toes for this reason, had to return.”

Thank you for your review, Gabor is a German company and do equate the D to a wider foot, if you use the filter to wide, it will take out all of the shoes that may be too narrow for you and just leave the shoes that may be more suitable for you. “I ordered an ankle boots, it's states that they came in wide fitting D+ sizes, but that was not the case, they were very narrow, I returned them although I really liked them. V”

“I love Gabor shoes and usually buy from a shop, at the moment shops are closed so I ordered my size over the internet. Fit perfect but the right suede black upper was lighter than the left, as I only use them as indoor office comfort shoes I have kept them as the bother of sending back was not worth it, will look forward to shoe shops opening again and I won't have that problem again.”

“The buying of a pair of boots was easy and the delivery was faultless. However, the boots weren’t right for me so I had to send them back. Having to pay £11:40 to send them tracked was not a pleasant experience. I wish I’d read the small print as to have to pay so much for a return was not great for me as a customer. Sadly Won’t order again with Gabor / Charles clinkard online due to this.”

We offer a free standard UK delivery with a minimum spend However, we do ask the customer to pay the returns cost. Returns can be taken into a Charles Clinkard store or returned to our Head Office. We do recommend a tracked service, however it is up to the customer to return whichever method is convenient. We do offer a Collect Plus label through the returns section of our website, which is £4.49 for up to 10kg of returns, which can be suitable for those returning multiple or heavier items. Also, it is now 365 days to return so this gives more flexibility considering the current pandemic. “These particular shoes are too clumpy but also too big for me. Annoying you have to pay for returns if not suitable. Usually size 8 is ideal but not on this occasion. Would not buy on line again”

“Gabor Euphoria Womens Sandals, I bought these and had them shipped to Australia, the most uncomfortable she I've ever owned, also quite a heavy shoe, you feel you're carrying a weight tied to you foot!”

“i thought i was being sensible in checking the reviews before i ordered and the reviews, almost unanimously, said they were sized slightly big so order half a size smaller. I did..... error! They were actually easily half a size too small, possibly even a whole size. That said, they were beautifully made and beautifully packed and they arrived really quickly. My advice would be to order at least two sizes and then return the one that doesnt fit.”

“Liked the shoe. However, 8 too small and 9 too big. Pity no half sizes. Maybe I need a shoe in a different shape at the front? I like a high front but find the tapering to the toe the wrong shape for my foot. Need something 'square' or 'rounded' rather than 'pointed'.”
