“I liked the boots but they were a little small so sent them back. I would have ordered the next size up but it cost me just under £9.00 to return them so didn’t order another pair in case I needed to send them back too. A bit disappointed with the cost to return goods.”

“Delivery came ok but had a mark on shoe. Slightly annoying. The wedges I love but the strap is already catching on my ankle. Either need to lower the strap or make material softener. The wedges are extremely comfortable so I’m happy with the comfort factor. Maybe less weave on heel and more cork”

“I have ordered ankle boots size 9. As I need wide-width fitting shoes, Gabor used to have a great range of wide-width fitting boots but not anymore. The shoes were advertised wide fit but they are not, they are wide-width around the ankle only but not around the feet. Excellent delivery though, quick and well managed, however, the shoes did not fit so I sent them back. As Gabor (which is part of Charles Clincard) returns are not free I paid £12 to sent them back. I have ordered another pair in size 8 which is too narrow. I will have to pay another £12 to return the shoes. It is too expensive! With limited sizes available at the shop, they need to order my size anyway. I need to travel back 28 miles to try the shoes on as there are no shops with Gabor shoes in my town. I am very disappointed and as it is too expensive to return the shoes I will not order from Gabor or Charles Clincard again.”

As part of our terms and conditions, we do ask for returns to be paid for and there are more cost efficient options you can use however Royal Mail is a popular choice for our customers. Hello Thankyou for your review. The style ordered is classed by Gabor as German G or a wider fit however as each customer has a unique fit, we cannot guarantee the shoes will be perfect for you. Each shoe is made from a different last and also constructed with different materials, this can also influence how an item fits. “Nice colour and design . Fit not as wide as I was expecting but maybe they will stretch a bit with wear . Overall good and speedily dispatched”

“Most of the shoes are value for money. Occasionally there is a pair that do not meet Garbor usual standard. This can be deeply disappointing as you usually get value for money. The styles do not change often enough for me.”

Many customers find that if they get just a half size larger if the shoe is a little tight, that this increases the area within the shoe and is a btter fit. “The sandals have plus points like being comfortable. However the design is not up to the normal Gabor standard and look rather cheap. Not like previous purchases it will not deter me from buying Gabor again”

“I hace had a pair if these shies for around five years. They have been marvellous, stylish and very comfortable. I was delighted to be able to purchase the exact same shoe after such a time lapse. When the shoes arrived they had been badly packed looking as though they had been sent to me in the same condition as someone else had returned them. They were slightly scuffed byr tge soke showed ni signs if wear. Very disappointing indeed to hace to return them. Not sure I can make a reccomendation based on this experience.”
