Thank you for taking the time to review your purchase with us. I am glad to hear the boots were suited to your needs and hope you are happy with them. The primary function of the box is to protect the shoes inside, but unfortunately, can be damaged itself whilst in transit. Regarding storage, it is advised to keep leather boots in a cool, dry and well ventilated area out of direct sunlight. This ensures the colour is protected and prevents cracking to the material. “I have worn Gabor shoes for a long time, they always fit my feet well. I live in New Zealand now and I ordered a replacement pair of sanders on a Thursday NZ time and they arrived in New Zealand the next Tuesday. Fantastic service.”
