“Very disappointing the black suede boots I ordered were damaged on the outside of both boots had shiny marks near sole area, unfortunately trainers didn’t fit plus these items have cost me £15.45 to return through the Post Office”

Thank you for your review. We apologise that your boots had marks on them, this should not have happened and we apologise for your disappointment. We are sorry to hear that you have paid £15.45 to return these items. The Post Office has different levels of postage and a second class label would be around £5 for a package of this size, and around 80p more with tracking. Next day and signed for are more expensive. You can purchase a Collect+ label on our website for £4.49 which covers returns up to 10 kilo. This gives you a tracking number so you can see when they arrive, or you can take your order back to any Charles Clinkard store. Alternatively you can use Evri, or Yodel youself arranging a return where you buy the label and they return the item to us. Both of these are a reasonable price service. “Disappointing. Not as comfortable as other Gabor shoes I’ve had in the past. Suede is stiff and no cushioning in the sole. Will be returning them.”

“Brilliant service. I usually take a 6.5 in Gabor shoes but needed a 7 in the Petunia style. I returned the originals and received the replacements 3 days later. My only niggle is that there was no return paperwork or delivery note in with the replacement pair. Luckily they are fine & I am keeping them. Very stylish.”

“Love these boots, great fit and very comfortable. They are the 3rd pair I have bought in the last 2 years. Would definitely recommend. I am a size 1, but a size 2.5 is OK for me with a thick sock.”

“Shame my navy suede sandals went out of stock after ordering but at least it made it easier to choose between them and the black ones I ordered in the same style! Great quality and a lovely fit - wish all manufacturers did that elusive 5 1/2 size!”

“The pair I bought last year were very good so I bought the same shoe size, different colour this year. But the straps were looser so my feet went forward in them but I did not realise this until I went outside striding out . Sadly they will not exchange them as I have worn them outside . So I’m quite disappointed . I understand why they can’t exchange but I expected the fitting to be the same as it was the same size. But I am not even sure if they are wearable now as my toe touched the floor in front when I walk”

“I have had 4 pairs of these shoes and this latest pair were obviously substandard as the stitching to the moccasin wasn't even around the toes. Sent back but cost £9 for tracked parcel. Extremely disappointed.”

“I never received the shoes. I contacted Charles Clinkard who asked for more specific delivery instructions, which I provided. Was promised the shoes Monday (yesterday). They never arrived and I have just received notification that they have been returned to you! I didn't even get to try them on! Terrible service”

Thank you for your review. I am sorry to read about the problem with your delivery. It appears DPD were unable to locate your address, despite the extra information you provided us with. After attempting a couple of times, the package was returned to us. I can understand it's disappointing. The stock is still available should you wish to re-purchase via our website.
