“Although I have kept the shoes, I was disappointed that the colour was nothing like the picture on the internet. I bought them expecting grey and the arrived more like a taupe colour. They are very comfortable though and thats why I gave them 4 stars.”

“The shoes were good but the delivery experience was painful. The first delivery was made to the wrong address, then came to us, only for me to find that it was the wrong shoes in the right box! I then had to contact Gabor customer services (who was excellent) who mailed me a pre-paid postage label. The next delivery of the correct shoe arrived a few days later...the only issue was the left shoe appeared to have been taken a beating (relative to the right shoe) - leather was distressed, the loops were scrunched up. It was respectable enough to keep it. I didn't have the energy to organise another re-delivery! The warehouse set up, quality checks of shoes in boxes etc seems to be poor. The shoes itself were fab!”

“I ordered Callow shoes in light grey for my wedding. Really pleased the shoes are available in half sizes as I’d been advised by lots of friends to take a half size bigger than my usual 3, as I’ll be on my feet all day! The shoes are a really good fit at the extra half sizing, super-comfortable, well made and beautiful and I’m sure they will take me through the day perfectly. Thanks.”

“I purchased the Animate M Womens Long Boots - size 6. They arrived pretty quickly and I loved them! Sadly, I had to return them as they were to tight in the calf area. I don’t have big calves and this is not a problem I’ve ever experienced with boots before - even my daughter who is a lot slimmer and has a smaller foot size found them snug.”

Thank you for your review. We can provide the measurements for our S (slim) M (medium) and L (large) knee high boots. The width does alter as the size of the shoe alters but all of those of the same size shoe should be the same width. If a customer would like to check the width before buying you can call 0345 241 7742 or email sales@clinkard with your shoe size and we can give the measurement. “5 stars for a fantastic customer services. As for the boots it’s not bad but I don’t like the cut at the front ( front shape) as it wasn’t slim a bit puffy. Nevertheless the quality is so good. Unfortunately I had to return it since I didn’t like its shape. 4 stars for the boots”
