“Lovely shoes but very disappointed wide fit was still too narrow and had to pay to return”

Thank you for your review. We are sorry to hear that your shoes did not fit. We do deliver free of charge but ask customers to cover the cost of returns. There is a link on our website to Collect + where for the low cost of £4.49 you can return up to 10 kilo, so several pair of shoes can be returned in one package. You can also return orders to any Charles Clinakrd store which will save you the cost of any postage charges. I hope that this information helps for future orders. “The boots are perfect - stylish and really comfortable. It's great to have a wider fit as so many styles are too narrow for me. I was very impressed with the service too. I ordered the boots on a Sunday and they were delivered two days later. Excellent in every way!”

“I bought these last year and they are fabulous. They look chunky but are lightweight. I wore them all the time and plan on doing again this year, I might have to buy another pair as even though mine have got years of wear left I know I will be fitted when they wear out. What a dilemma !”

“Please please continue to do half sizes as it makes all the difference tobthe fit of the shoe. I am so in between a three and a four , so that three and a half fits so well. I bought the Jangle loafer in viola suede in the spring and now just bought the Carol black loafer and they are fitting so well.”

“I have 3 pairs of Gabor smart, suede trainers, in different colours. They are all comfortable and, so far, have resisted even the most persistent showers. Delivery was as described online. All good.”

“The shoes I received were some of the best I have been able to find in recent years. I have small feet and most retailers seem to be discontinuing their small size stocks. To be told "we have it in a size 4" is not helpful, so may Gabor long continue to sell small sizes.”

“NOT wide fitting at all. Infact very narrow. They state they are a Gabor 'H' fitting which should equate as an 'E/EE' The seller won't have it though, despite seeing the same complaint on other reviews. They had the cheek to tell me to phone Gabor. Then I had to pay to return them despite them being mis-sold. I won't buy from them again.”

Thank you for your review. I have taken a look at the reviews and can see that there is a mixture of comments on these lovely boots. From being very roomy to too tight. As fit is a very personal thing, we understand that a customer does need to try them on for fit, and we offer a full refund if returned within in 52 weeks and are unworn. Many customers will order a half size larger for extra room within the boot. This does not work for everyone, but often it does and makes for a much more comfortable fit. “I ordered a pair of boots which came within 24hrs, I had a very slight issue with them, this was resolved to my complete satisfaction within 24hrs. Super impressed with the level of customer service they received”

“Lovely ballet shoes. Soft leather, wider G fitting. Very comfortable. Bought for work but could easily be worn at weekends to finish a casual outfit. Easy site to navigate, delivery prompt. I would order again from this company.”

“I very much like the black leather ankle boots I just bought but the only 'thing' I would say is that the size - 7 1/2 - on these boots is slightly bigger than the 7 1/2 size of the very similar suede boots I bought earlier this year. But I felt the 7 might be too small so i didn't try and change them. Next time I will get two sizes and then decide which fits best.”
