“shoes fine eventually. initially i was sent a pair consisting of left foot a different size from right foot, not impressed. was told replacement pair would come on next day delivery but it didnt”

Thank you for your review. We apologise sincerely that the order that you were originally sent were a odd pair. Unfortunately as we did not have stock in our warehouse, we had to wait an extra day until the stock arrived with us before we could post the replacement out, so I also apologise also for the delay in sending the replacement to you. “I love Gabor boots as they are both stylish and comfortable, which is very unusual. The taupe pair that I bought recently did not disappoint- they are just the colour I wanted and look great with trousers and skirts- perfect!”

“I have previously purchased several pairs of Gabor boots, which have fitted perfectly. They have been outstanding for wear and comfort. On this occasion I purchased a really nice pair of leather court shoes, but unfortunately, they pressed on a hammer toe which I have on my left foot. To be fair, this was no fault of Gabor. I returned the shoes and was refunded for them very quickly.”

“Gabor shoes always comfortable & last well. I replaced a pair of boots with exactly the same boots as I was so pleased with them. The only reason this is not a five star review is because the box they came in was tatty & damaged. I like to keep my boots in the box for storage and cannot. When you pay £200, you kind of expect the box to reflect that!!”

Thank you for your feedback. It is disappointing to read about the condition of the packaging when your order arrived. I understand you would expect the entire order to be pristine. We make every effort to retain products in their original packaging for as long as possible. However, it seems that this pair ought to have been re-boxed. “I ordered a pair of boots and they came quickly, however they arrived in the wrong colour! I kept them because I could not be bothered sending them back and waiting on a new pair! Not what I expected from Gabor!”

Thank you for your review. I am sorry to hear that you received incorrect colour. The colour that you ordered was named Chino which is a light tan in colour. I am not sure what it is you have received as the only other two colours are black and taupe. We do hope that you enjoy wearing these boots and the colour does not spoil your enjoyment of them. “Nice quality boots but narrow fitting so had to return. Would say I was massively disappointed that I had to pay for returns. That was my oversight tho not the retailer. Quite a shock as it cost me £12.50 with Royal Mail for tracking (which was what was recommended). Will certainly think twice before making a further purchase on line with this retailer.”

Thank you for your review. We are sorry to hear that you had to pay so much for your shoes to be returned. You can choose second class Royal mail which keeps the cost down and then get extra tracking for around 80p more. It does sound as though they have charged you for an overnight service which is not needed. You can also find on our website a link to Collect + where for £4.49 you can create a postage label whcih covers up to 10 kilo in one package. This allows you to return several pair shoes back at the same time using a tracked service. I hope that this information is of help for future reference. Kind regards, Janice - customer services

“Fabulous service. I ordered the Leather ankle boots (PRISSIE) They are beautiful and so comfy, i have problems with arthritis in my ankles so i purchased these for extra support, the lining is so soft and i can take the liners out and put my Orthotic's inside. Packed lovely and swift delivery. Love Gabor, such quality.”

“Shoes not finished well - some threads showing. I ordered from Gabor but shoes came from Clinkard with a Clinkard label showing a price £10 less than I paid - so not a good experience!”

Thank you for your review. You can use a second class postal service to keep the cost of returns low. You can then add tracking if you wish. Alternatively, there is a link on our website to Collect + where for the reduced cost of £4.49 you can return up to 10 kilo in one package. I do hope that this information helps for future reference if you do order again. There are a couple of Charles Clinkard concessionary stores not too far from you, where you could visit to try Gabor shoes on if you are in the area, you can pop your post code into their store finder to see where these are. “I have a wardrobe full of Gabor shoes and boots which I have purchased over the years and I love them. However I was very disappointed to have to pay just under 10 pounds to return a single pair of boots to you. I will not be using your website again. Very disappointed.”

You can return items to any Charles Clinkard store, you do have some that are quite close to where you live and you have up to 12 month to return for full refund so long as unworn.
