“Delivery on time really helpful men no stress as they build sofa bed in desired room, so no worries of getting through doorways. We sleep on sofa bed every night really comfortable ours is the size of double bed and got storage for pillows. David was really helpful if you need any help. Also looks good as a sofa and is easy to put up and down as sofa bed because it goes down in one piece. Would definitely recommend company so easy to order on line.”

“When I moved into my studio flat I originally looked at buying a wall bed but found there wasn't a great deal of storage. I wanted my studio to look like a living room first, bedroom second. I looked into sofa beds for everyday use and found thesofabed.com. Immediately I liked the look of the retro sofa and decided I needed to test the bed before I parted with any money. Buying a sofa is a huge commitment, let alone a sofa and a bed. For an online company, I was very impressed that they had a showroom (fortunately not too far from me) and I was able to try the bed out. I spent a while there at the showroom and practised getting the bed out and putting it back in again. It was a very simple technique and required little effort. The mattress was firm but extremely comfortable (I prefer firm mattresses so it suited me perfectly), and it felt bed-like. I ordered the sofa bed at the showroom and it arrived before the estimated delivery date. I received an email not long before the arrival, letting me know the date and time of the delivery. The delivery men were very polite and professional and assembled the sofa bed for me. I've now had the sofa bed for nearly 2 months and I am extremely happy with it. I sleep on it everyday. I get the bed out and put it away everyday. Even after a long night shift, it takes minimal effort to get it out. The bed frame has wooden slats and is very sturdy. The mattress is very comfortable and I never struggle to sleep and, unlike most sofa beds found in High Street shops, I don't wake up in the centre of the bed. I've got the retro sofa. With this one, you have to take the back cushions off before pulling the bed out. I use the cushions as a headboard when the bed is out which is great because I like to read in bed a lot of the time, and I've something soft lean up against. When the bed is away, I have my living room back. It makes such a difference in such a small studio flat. My sofa bed is most definitely money well spent and I'd recommend thesofabed.com to anyone!”

“Expensive, but worth it; a superb, no-compromise sofa that turns easily into a superb, no-compromise bed. You could probably get away with considerably cheaper for occasional use, but if your sofa bed is going to accommodate regular guests, this really is the business...”

“I am very pleased with my chair bed - it looks great. It hasn't been used as a bed yet but it is an easy mechanism to operate. The service I received was very good from the order to the delivery. I think that customers would appreciate some information on care of the chair fabric. Jean Dusgate”

“It was difficult to find the showroom as we were on the wrong side of the North Circular and did finally manage to get turned around. The welcome and attention was excellent and we found exactly what we are looking for as we a had a built-in wardrobe installed beforehand and had only a smalll 240 cm space allocated. We found exactly what we are looking for. The delivery was right on time and the workmanship is excellent. We could not be more pleased. Absolutely brilliant!!! Highly recommend!! “We ordered a sofa bed and a storage bed from thesofabed.com. It was great that we could physically visit and look/feel the bed and sofa before purchase. The furniture was very innovative, and the 'add-ons' were very cool. Both items arrived after about 5-6 weeks, as expected. Final evaluation of the sofa-bed and bed we got : Great products, looks great. Finish is first class. The storage is amazing. Very good value too compared to other types of storage beds. This however is just a bit more classy Would recommend to others.”

“We went to visit the workshop to try before buying. Asked for a slightly early delivery for a special occasion, nothing was too much trouble. The sofa is great, sturdy, nice mechanism so it can be wheeled into position and then locked into place. The bed unfolds easily. It seems comfortable, we only use it for visitors, and we've had no complaints”

“Now I have my sofa bed my tiny studio flat has become a comfortable sitting room, no longer dominated by a hideous wall mounted contraption. As a bed it is as comfortable as promised and is so quickly put away that I don't even have to wait until I've had that first cup of coffee. The men who delivered and assembled it were very pleasant and put it together very quickly.”

“The sofabed arrived exactly when predicted and was put together very quickly by the friendly delivery team. My daughter is very happy with it and says it is extremely comfortable. It folds in and out very smoothly and it is clearly a quality product.”

Once there, sofa-bed chosen for sitting comfort she was very helpful with choosing the right fabric. It's easy to open and guests enjoy staying over for more than one night. Thank you”
