“He did what he came to do and replace the, I'm not sure what the "flush out" entails, but to drain the contaminated fuel and then out the fresh fuel in? My interpretation would be flushing the tank to clean any residue, I might be wrong?”

“The technician arrived very soon after our booking and was polite and pleasant to deal with' We are puzzled by something and would appreciate your explanation re the fuel. The tank had some diesel in it. My wife added £27 petrol, realised her mistake and then added over £73 diesel. Andross emptied the tank,(dial showed empty - maybe it was now faulty - read on). Flushed it and put diesel in. At £36 it the tank could take no more. The dial was now showing full. We followed his instructions and drove the car with the intention of using the tank up. On the same day we drove two hundred miles to the Lake district and back to Leeds. The needle on the digital screen was still showing full on Friday. After my wife speaking to the office and again with Andross we ateempted to fill the tank to the very top. Again it only took about £36 or so of diesel. My Q is..... Am I right in believing some of the original mixed fuel was left in the tank? if not why does it only take about a third of the money to "fill" the tank? Another Q..... Do F F have a technician who can tell me why after Andross filled up, the digital fuel tank needle stopped working and is stuck on full? I am driving about 300 miles to Brighton on Monday. Do they think the sensor or float will correct itself and the needle goes back to normal? I await your reply Saul Erner 07930 347 775”

“Following a wrong fuel on our hire van . The initial phone call was prompt and reassuring . After waiting longer than promised the engineer arrived only the find his van equipment was not working. We then had to wait a further 3/4 of and hour ….. more like an hour . The job was completed promptly and we could then get on our way no issues. But I do think more engineers need to be on call and vans need to be checked before each start of the day . We did not receive any discount for the extra wait .”

“Reliable service with polite and helpful staff; attendance in my case took a while, the engineer very helpful and explained everything. Bit of a shock at the cost for approximately an hours work involving a fuel tank drain and a system clean rather than a system flush!!”

“Your engineer was very helpfull and friendly. He had my bike up and running on petrol that was the correct fuel! I waas expecting to get it to the main dealer to flush the diesel out.”

“Excellent customer service online helpful staff. Advised fuel fixer would be 90 minutes but ended up nearer 3 hrs. However, on arrival he was extremely helpful, pleasant and quick to empty the tank to refuel correctly. Great job, not the cheapest but got me back on the road. Thanks 👍”

“Very quick service, you got to me in 13 minutes, Robbie was an excellent technician, and probably took less than 30 minutes to complete the job, only negative is the cost it was a very expensive mistake to make!!”

“I was happy with the excellent service and the speed of the attendance . Thought it was a very professional job and the engineer who attended was a credit . I just feel a little sore for how much it cost . I understand that you will need to get rid of the drained fuel however with that and 2 hours work if that I find the price astronomical and feel like I’ve been had off after googling other company’s prices .I hadn’t started the engine prior to attendance. Customer service was excellent however I paid for it for sure”

“Fuel Fixer got me out of a pickle, they arrived promptly within half an hour of making my initial phone call and resolved my misfuelling issue. The only negative is the cost but at least they got me back up and running without having to get towed to a garage and having to wait for the repair.”
