“Excellent service regarding how quickly technician arrived and siphoned fuel from tank. However the fact that the service did not fully remove all the contaminated fuel by not changing the fuel filter has left the car with problems with the dashboard lights and information display with the STOP COMMAND and tyre puncture message showing which disables the select button. I did draw the technician's attention to the lights ect but he said that the sevice only covered the removal of the fuel from the tank and lines and that I should take the car to a garage to sort out the computer. I had hoped that by investing in professionals like your company to undertake the work, that I would have a completed repair”

Regarding the remaining filter, we recommend that this be replaced at your convenience. There will always be a residual amount of contaminated fuel left, and the filter will capture this before you change it. Therefore it is better to actually drive your car prior to getting the filter change done. Once done, your warning lights should reset. Warm regards, Team Fuel Fixer

“They responded very promptly and drained the adblue out of my diesel tank. It was an expensive £1k lesson learned! But they do charge you £40 for fuel, we received approx. £20/£25 def. Not £40 worth.”

Just a couple of points regarding the fuel charge: in September, £40 might have been expected to buy around 26–29 litres of fuel, and the first few litres may not show on the fuel gauge at all. “The service along with the man who attended was efficient the well carried out, the man very pleasant. But considering the time the operation took, the cost was excessive. It felt like I was being 'taken advantage of' A pity since was a long way from home in a pretty vulnerable position. Ron.”

“Fuel fixer were able to get me back on the road within 4 hours of the initial call. Although on closer inspection I didnt have a contaminated fuel tank the diagnostics allowed me to identify the issue and subsequently arrange the appropriate repairs. Note that this is not a cheap service however if you need to get back on the road urgently then this is probably your only option.”

“Service wise. Top class. Michal was a top guy. A nicer person you couldn't meet. Waited about 45 mins which was accurate to what I was told. All done and dusted and promptly back on the road. I do have an issue with the pricing. Was very high but negotiated to a price I was happy to pay. Don't know what the going rate is for this kind of thing having never done it before.”
