“Very expensive for an hours work, I know everything cost a lot of money nowadays but it really feels like they are twisting the knife. I was expecting €400 but €600 just felt to much for a guy with a pump and tank in the van. Moral of the story don't put adblue in your fuel tank”

“Staff member who answered the telephone call for help, struggled with poor computer systems being slow to load Including the telephone system or telephone line that was poor (such that it made getting correct data re credit card details very difficult). Made whole aleady difficult situation at a motorway fuel station very stressful. The operative who attended the vehicle was very experienced and good at his job. We were told it would take an hour to get someone to our vehicles and that proved to be correct. We probably did the right thing in not moving or switching on the engine at all due to the advice of the fuel station staff. No such advice was given or was possible from your teleh9ne centre staff”

“After draining tank and fuel line and refilling both your employee attempted starting car with no joy for a while because he didn't drain the filter which is after the fuel line meaning he's trying to start with wrong fuel so being the job wasn't done correctly I think I should get a partial refund”

“I was hugely frustrated to put diesel in my petrol tank. I used your number and had heard everything said but at the end of the discussion I was paying £300+ plus VAT. I waited nearly 3 hours and he was with me for 30 minutes maximum. It is a lot of money for what I actually got. The man was great but I bet he didn't get £300🤔”

“I felt the price was high. The guy took around 20 minutes to sort it, for nearly £500?. The guy was nice enough but also took 3 hours to get to me and I had 2 young children in the car with me.”

“I was charged £200 more than a quote from another company. My advice is to shop around before you go with Fuel Fixer good service but wish I got more quotes then committing to this company. I did try to cancel but once I paid a £200 they wouldn't refund me.”

“Pros: Super fast super friendly super efficient. Johm was excellent and got us going again. I did expect the whole system to be drained and flushed at this price not just the tank. Cons: Be honest when you quote and dont add VAT after you have taken the deposit. Very expensive compared to other companys.”

“I have a rave review for this company but after I discovered that the £10 of petrol he puts in from his can is not £10 at all - or at least not from pump rates - he empties thé csn in your petrol tank and then gets you to fill it up - that comes to £10 at the pump but I think some is poured into his tank before he gets to you... I would also Google other company's - AA offer this service too, wish I'd known than before I panicked into using this company.”

Good morning - we are glad to hear that all was "rave", except, it seems, a misunderstanding over the fuel. When your fuel gauge is telling you that your tank is empty, there can be anything between 5-10 litres of fuel still in the tank, not registering on the sensor. When you then add £10 of fuel, you will notice a difference on your gauge, as you are adding £0 on to the existing 5-10 litres. When we completely drain your tank, there is nothing left in it, meaning that when we only add £10, it doesn't really show up. There's enough to start the vehicle and move it a little way, but you will have to put more fuel in. We always advise that any customer top up their tank, as this dilutes any residual contamination. So, it is not the case that less fuel was put in than you paid for at pump price, only that it looks less as you are used to a different picture. This is a common misunderstanding.
