“Attended within 20 minutes, fuel removed and system cleaned through, technician good at his job. Was expensive but that's down to me putting incorrect fuel in vehicle”

“What can i say....I put petrol in my husbands beloved diesal range rover! My life flashed past me before my eyes, in 10 seconds whilst paying for fuel and the realisation of what i had done. Whilst i was numb with shock the garage manager gave me the card of Fuel Fixer ..within an hour of the initial call to a very compasionate gentleman who calmed me down, and gave me instructions ..do not turn on the engine , touch or move it. So there i was sitting in the car watching my husbands family tracker, praying he didnt drive past .. In the distance the Fuel fix van appeared. I was instantly reassured by the fixer and he went straight to work. Profesional in every way..he was was amazing!..even took on the forecourt manager who was becoming a bit annoyed by my presence, he mellowed and was ok in the end. Within 40 mins...i had paid and was on my way, singing to christmas carols .. feeling like i did have a life after all ....not all super heros wear capes Thank you Fuel fixer *****”

Having to pay for the wrong fuel, and then for the service of removing it is one thing, but having to face up to making the mistake is quite another, so we do understand what you went through here. “We were particularly worried as we live on the Isle of Wight. Especially as we knew that the longer the wrong fuel was left in the tank the more damage it could do. Fuel Fixer were incredibly proactive and arranged for a technition to attend on the same day despite them needing to travel on a ferry to get to us. When he arrived he worked quickly and competently to drain the fuel, flush the engine and add the correct fuel. We were really grateful for the swift and competent service.”
