“The reason for the rating is the ridiculous cost. £300 because I put the wrong fuel in my car for the first time. It was at a Morrisons (supermarket) petrol station. Both the diesel and petrol handles had large Morrisons (and therefore green) labels on them at eye level (for me). And the two handles were side-by-side. I grabbed the diesel instead of the petrol. And this company charged £300 for 5 minutes' work to siphon it (I hadn't driven anywhere; I realised almost right away what I had done). They would likely argue their driver had to come from an hour away. That isn't my fault. It's theirs. Crazy cost. But the reason for this low rating is also that Morrisons' labelling is a problem for lots of drivers. The man who came to me from this company told me that by far the most incidents happen at Morrisons petrol stations because of their green label. It's a thing. So why hasn't it been changed? Morrisons petrol station attendant gave me a card for this company, almost like these two entities were working in cahoots. My decision? I will not ever buy petrol from Morrisons again and give them (I had to pay for two lots of fuel) or this rip-off company (Fuel Fixer) the opportunity to fleece me for a total of nearly £400.”

“Absolutely brilliant service! I accidentally misfuelled my car and was understandably worried, but the team arrived quickly, were professional and reassuring, and fixed the problem efficiently. They explained everything clearly, checked the engine for damage then proceeded to remove the wrong fuel. Highly recommend their service to anyone who finds themselves in the same situation!”

He even took the time to chat with another driver who had made the same mistake at the pump next to me—that driver had been waiting hours for a different company, even though he put petrol in his diesel before I did!
