“Chap came out in 50 minutes and took about 15-20 minutes to drain the tank and re-fuel and then I was on my way. I was pretty down because it's a very costly mistake but the chap was sympathetic, which I appreciated. Would recommend.”

“Tried to charge me nearly double what I finally paid. I felt exploited as was desperate. I tried to cancel, this was refused, reason being I can't cancel after 15 minutes. I was waiting on the call queue in that 15. This company is a con, wish I'd rang around but I was in panic mode.”

“Very expensive , Was told everything was included in price then told by the guy who turned up it’s an extra £30 so £450 in total”

“Wednesday morning came off the back of a busy few days and so I started the day somewhat rushed, as I anxiously prepared for our next chemotherapy appointment. I got in the car only to find out that I also needed fuel on the way. No problem, I thought, there's time.... At the petrol station my mind started to run through the expected activities of the day, my thoughts wondering from the task in hand. Suddenly, ahhhhhh!!! NO!! What am I doing???!!!! I'd started to fuel my diesel car with unleaded petrol. Disaster. All of a sudden panic washed over me as the realisation of what I'd done hit me. How do I get to the appointment? I knew I couldn't now start the car, or take the handbrake off to push it, as it's an electric handbrake. I called my husband in tears as I relayed my mistake and he confirmed that I should stay where I was whilst he tried to think of an alternative way of making it to the appointment. I turned to the Internet at this point and Fuel Fixer appeared. I called through and spoke to Laveal who was reassuring and compassionate to my situation. He was also very patient as I tried to hold back my emotions... not very successfully I should add. He personally contacted roadside assistance in an effort to try and get me going as quickly as possible. Very shortly afterwards, just after my husband had joined me at the petrol station, I answered a call from Addy to say he was on his way and could reach me in 30 minutes. He asked how much fuel I'd put in and if I'd started the engine and assured me that he could get to me and have me back on the road by 9:05. It would be close and I'd still be late... but there was surely time for treatment and that was the most important thing! I can't quite find the right words to describe my relief and gratitude when Addy pulled up behind me. His smile and reassuring confidence in being able to sort out the mess I'd created were the catalyst to me once again tearing up as the feeling of relief hit me. Poor Addy! A tank of unleaded & diesel to drain and an emotional wreck on top. He was brilliant and had me on the road, as promised, by 9:05. Just 40 minutes after I'd made my call to Laveal. He even offered to get me a coffee before he left! And then, finally, I get to the point of my email to you... I'd like to send my sincerest thanks to Addy (and Laveal) for their swift actions on Wednesday morning. I can't begin explain how much it meant to me that, in my hour of need, these 2 men most definitely stepped up and put my day back on track! Hopefully the context above helps to do that though. If they are representative of the quality of staff working at your company, then I commend you on supplying a service that is second to none. Addy's humour helped to break through my emotion and, as he said on the day, if we don't laugh sometimes, then we cry. He hugged me as he left with authentic care and empathy.... It's hard to believe when reading this, but I'm not typically a crier. I think in that moment, I just broke. If there's a way you could commend and highlight their efforts, recognise their professionalism or reward them in some way, then I hope this email helps to do that... it's certainly deserved!! “Decent service but very very expensive. After getting the ad blue removed from my tank which allowed me to get home I still had to get my tank removed by a mechanic to remove the remnants.”

“Excellent service from Dave. He had a long drive, about 4 hrs to get to me and my motorcycle in Allness from Dundee. Luckily I was at Morrisons supermarket so I was quite comortable waiting in thier cafe. It could have been a different story if I had been elsewhere in the Highlands waiting in rain. A Fuel Fixer based in Inverness would be good.”
