I cannot review the products as I live in France and your company does not deliver to France. Furthermore it was difficult setting up an account and payment as your company does not accept customers outside the UK or credit cards from banks outside the Uk. It is a problem.

The purchases - chocolates & wine plus Turkish delight - were a gift which were very well received and with the Turkish delight being declared "the best I have ever had". However, it was very disappointing that, despite me putting a gift message on both purchases, neither had any with them when they were delivered.

They were a gift and recipient said they were divine. Reduced stars as I paid for quicker postage and they took ages to arrive ( I know at Christmas couriers were stretched due to Royal Mail strike .

Nice chocolates but had a shower of chocolate ‘bits’ fall out of the box on opening Xmas day - not good on a .cream carpet !

I always award Friars 5 stars but on this occasion I can only award 3 as a few of Dark chocolate cherry liqueurs had dried out. This will not stop me buying in the future as this is the first time this has ever happened

Disappointed with the coffee selection. None of the chocolates had a distinct coffee flavour and the chocolate was dry and brittle. At a cost of a £1 per chocolate I was extremely disgruntled

Asking for a review of a product sent as a gift seems perverse. I know the gift arrived but have had no feedback on it. It was clear that the product was to be sent to a different person, so I conclude Friars do this without much real thought.

They’re okay. Not very good value for money. On the website pictures imply bigger sized boxes of chocolate and then tiny ones show up. And then you feel embarrassed giving someone just that for Xmas but little do they know it’s cost you over £10! I would say you’re best off with a box of dairy milk or Thorntons for cheaper!

I have ordered from Friars a lot in the past and the products are always incredible and come beautifully packaged. However my recent order was a bit of a mess.. I ordered hot chocolate that had burst and had gone everywhere. It was a gift for someone so a little disappointed. I’m sure this isn’t Friar’s fault and is the fault of the courier, though.

Unfortunately I am having to send one of the boxes of chocolates back as they contain palm oil, which I really didn't expect from a quality brand. Can you remove this from your products? Apart from that the orangettes were lovely (no palm oil) and I liked the packaging and delivery.

Fast delivery, all for gifts so can’t comment on that aspect at the moment. Only downside is I wrote messages to be added to each box of chocolates as advertised on the page, and accepted, only to receive one. When questioned I was told that only one message was allowed per order and not per box of chocolates. Not very clear when ordering

The white chocolate cappuccino truffles taste disgusting, the other truffles , mousse au Chocolat and the Cointreau truffles were excellent x
