“I purchased a book that came with exclusive art work directly from a UK publisher that would not ship Internationally. Had packaged sent to Forwardvia. Process was very straight forward, item was packaged with care and shipped quickly! Would definitely recommend and utilize their services in the future if needed! Was also very impressed with all the various shipping options they offer.”

“I recently received my item that I purchased online in the UK and shipped through your company. It was a fragile piece of glassware which arrived in perfect condition. I wanted say what a pleasure it was to use your services and how easy it was to understand and follow the process. This was my first time buying an item that was not available in the US and only sold to the European market. It could not have been easier or more straight forward. Your fees were quite reasonable and the time period from purchase to delivery surprisingly quick considering it started in Denmark, processed in the UK and shipped to the US. I started to use a different drop shipper, but was put off by the intrusive questionnaires and suspicious banking information required to even begin the process. I heartily recommend your company. Thank you!”

“It’s sad that I still have to pay taxes on my own when the company is supposed to care for it. To pay more than double of what I bought is really not worth it. But anyway it’s good to know now”

Many thanks for taking the time to leave us a review, however, we are sorry to hear that you were not expecting local tax and duty charges. It is as stated on our website and shown at the time of order, that the shipping cost paid excludes customs charges or local tax and duty. Customs charges value depends on item type, value, and local destination tax rules. The Local courier or their appointed broker collects the tax and duty on behalf of the local customs or government. Usually, local couriers request the receiver to pay before delivery. This information is located on multiple pages of our website. It is displayed on 3 locations on our shipping calculator page, so the customer knows when they get a quote before they choose to proceed. It is also displayed on the shipping order page, highlighted in bold. Unfortunately, it is not possible to explain the tax and duties on every page. Some countries do not charge import taxes, and some have a tax-free threshold. We also have 'Help' located on every page should any visitors have questions. We understand that you may not be aware of it due to the pages you were looking at. We hope the above helps clarify the tax and duty charges on international shipments.
