“Expensive but efficient.”

We are sorry to hear that you find the shipping rates are higher than expected. ForwardVia is a service provider and is unable to compete with some retailers who cover their actual costs on the sale of the product. If you have previously shipped directly with a retailer shipping is often provided at cost or sometimes at a loss to entice you to purchase goods from them. ForwardVia only offers shipping services, not the sale of products. The price paid to ForwardVia includes the use of the address, the acceptance, processing, storing, and preparation of your goods for international transit including any export paperwork required. We also offer full customer support for all tracked shipments until delivery. I hope this information helps explain how shipping fees are charged. The additional charge for shrink wrapping, taping/fragile labeling, and photos are completely optional for customers should they require it. “I used ForwardVia to bring a sweater from the UK to Australia. The service worked efficiently and the package arrived safely. My only suggested improvement was that I did not receive a notification to inform me that the package had arrived at ForwardVia. I had to log in and check myself. Being quite busy, I could have easily forgotten to do this, particularly as I had assumed I would receive a notification.”

Email notification is automatically sent out by default unless the customer opts out. The package notification was sent out on Aug 11, 8:47:53 AM may have arrived in your spam or other folders. Perhaps add our email address to your contact list, hopefully, this avoid it going into other folders. I hope this information helps going forward. “Alway a seamless transaction when dealing with forward via. I bought numerous packages in the UK and add them shipped to the US quickly and efficiently. I would highly recommend their service.”

“The website is very easy to use. The products are stored well and packed well and arrived safely. The only reason I don't give 5 out of 5 is the cost. It is quite an expensive procedure. I know that this is not 100% th fault of Forward Via but maybe thy could do a deal with one or two of the freight companies to get the price down.”

“Was a very efficient service. My only complaint is it was far too expensive. The package I ordered was the size and weight of a mens hanky. The cost was over $35 AU to Australia. Great service but way too expensive for me to consider using again.”

“Portal easy to use, notifications and service are quick and efficient. Services offered are comprehensive. Only downside are the international shipping rates, they can be quite expensive even for simple/light items.”

“Shipping time was good, price was as quoted (high, but as quoted so no complaints there). I had specified a PO box for delivery, but the courier would not deliver to a PO box and I had to organise and pick it up from the depot, adding a couple of days delay. I would have liked for 'forwardvia' to inform me that the courier would not deliver to a PO box. Perhaps "no PO box" is country (or even city) specific and 'forwardvia' didn't know? But I got the thing in the end!”

“I've only been using ForwardVia for a short time. So far the service has been very good, I've received notifications on time for all relevant events and I also like all the options available like photos, labels, extra packaging and shipping. Also, the packages have been dispatched as soon as I completed entering data and payment. The only downside is the shipping prices for premium options are quite high. I don't really know the standard tariffs as I don't usually purchase items from the UK. I understand an overprice is the way ForwardVia collects its fee. But still, I just wish it were a little less expensive.”
