I ordered a wedding ring for a special day for my wife, but on collection it was a completely different ring. The lady who had made a mistake apologised but her male colleague was rude and asked us if we have never made mistakes in our lives. We are now told that the ring will only come on the 11th May, which is way after our special day passed. Sadly we were also told to top up the price. Very disappointed

I purchased a watch from the Braintree Branch and noticed that it was losing time and had stopped. I repositioned the hands to the correct time and it started. I took the watch into Hinds and the manager said it was the battery. The Bulova Pilot's watch was sent away The problem occurred again so I returned to the branch and demanded a new watch. The manager said it would be sent away again. Some weeks later I received the watch and am currently wearing it. The whole watch episode frankly has surprised me that a customer facing manager should have such a poor attitude and if I had bought a Stereo system in a shop and it had a fault I would expect to receive an identicle replacement. I won't be buying anything from F. Hinds again.

Bought two rings from your Trafford centre.one of those rings in the window said £120.when I got home checked receipt and came up as £189 .phoned shop to say this wasn't on as I wasn't going to pay that price .I told salesperson and was told as she didn't get out of window couldn't say what price was on display.she said she would get in touch with head office and get back to me.no joy so went in today said she was off weds so she left message for someone to ring nothing.went in today told said I would have to pay full price .got refund.I suggested in future your staff to tell customers as they put items though till told remind people of the price of item. I am disappointed as stayed in all day weds and had to come back to store today. After all the money I have spent in your stores over the years. I feel totally let down by your store .I also makes me feel like I wasn't telling the truth over this item. When I pick up my other ring in two weeks I will never shop with your company again.

After waiting two and a half months for an estimate for a watch repair the cost quoted £250 was more than the original watch cost due they said to some parts not available any more and difficult to find. Took it to another watch repairer who got the part required in a week and charged £40. Very disappointed with Hinds as have bought from them over the years and didn't expect this kind of service.

100% service from a lovely lady called Emma at the French gate shop 5 stars . Service in Meadowhall branch the manager called Tom was very rude he needs customer care training I am 71 and the way he spoke to me was disgusting. 1 Star

Check any ornaments for breakages, always broken ,chipped or scratched , was so gutted when my mother's day present was chipped all over , the box was damaged too

Today i just went to slough brach to change the battery of my seiko watch but the lady she forgot to close properly the back cover so when i went home there is a moisture inside my watch needs to training properly im not happy

Took my watch in the replace life time battery . I had the email and was told it wasn't on the computer,,as not been registered . She would put it though but shouldn't as it wasn't on the system. I was made to feel that I was cheating the business. I had the warrant email shown watch number and battery number. Yet it was my problem that it wasn't on your system. I should also know who it was under as there were 3 people living at my address , and how could that be. As there are 4 adults living at the address I don't see what the issue was as the email was addressed to the owner of the watch. Wasn't happy with this attitude,left the store feeling that she had done me a good deal, even though I had all the paper work .poor attitude.

Don’t get me wrong, the staff were lovely but they couldn’t find my item even though it said “ready to be collected” on Thursday and this was on Friday - this resulted in me having to wait while they stumbled around trying to find it?? Awkward

I was given a bracelet for my birthday which had a faulty clasp and fell off my wrist when I was out and luckily I heard it fall. It was also dirty inside the clasp which I over looked as it was in the clasp and I wouldn’t see it. I took it back and was told I could either have it sent off to be fixed or have a brand new one so I thought it best to have a new one. I collected the bracelet today, 2 weeks later and tried it on. The clap was still insecure and still dirty so I don’t believe this was a new bracelet. After this I didn’t want the bracelet anymore and request that I just get the value of the bracelet so I could get another one elsewhere.

After buying a ring on line and finding it was too big. We returned to a store to get a smaller size, to be told this ring had a scratch on it and can’t be returned! We had to have it resized. The ring was never worn because it was too big! Won’t be buying from you ever again.
