Arrived 8 minutes early for appointment and was told very abruptly and quite rudely to leave the store and come back despite there only being 1 other couple in the store. Lady doing the actual ear piercing was very nice and engaging.

Initial visit and contact was excellent - helpful and informative. Second visit an hour or two later to purchase was a bit marred by a failure to provide a small bag to place watch in and secondly no real proactive response when I asked if another cover box was available as it was marked and stained. Given I spent close to £300 on the watch it let down what would otherwise would have been a very positive experience.

The necklace did not arrive when it was supposed to, so I made the trip into town unnecessarily. On the receipt it stated that I would be informed if the collection date would change, but that didn't happen. So I collected it 6 days later than I should. Disappointed with only 1 choice of box to keep it in. The staff were friendly though and the necklace beautiful.

Everyone that served me in the Reading and Exeter branches were personable and helpful, and very apologetic when the order was placed incorrectly. Advising on different carats before placing the order would have avoided this, but I'm happy with the products at the end.

Ordered a signet ring for my husband, was phoned that it was ready. Came into the store and found out they sent the wrong ring. A gold ring when it was silver. They sent it to the wrong place. So patiently I waited. They have ordered another one, hopefully for the following week.

Difficult to write a review for something that was purchased for me as a gift! However, I had given my partner a link to your website for the product I wanted, including a written description and a picture so that he knew what I wanted. What he left the store with was something entirely different and unsuitable - somehow, your sales person on the day managed to talk him into purchasing a different product (same price) which makes no sense to me since the product I had requested was in stock and available from your Mander Centre branch. Consequently, I had to send him back to exchange it for the product he should have come out with in the first place.

Bought some earrings although they look nice at a good price the butterfly backs they come with are dreadful have had each earring fall out now and just lost one of the backs.

Pleasant staff but....bought my mum a watch end of September for her 90th birthday. One of the loops on the strap broke. I took it back to Hinds, and they said the strap was not under guarantee....the watch is 2 months old. Because mum was upset the manager glued it for her. Mum bought me a necklace for Christmas £99.99 and when we got it home, the chain was in one larfe knot. So far I have spent nearly an hour trying to undue the knots, still trying....we always buy our jewellery from Hinds with no issues but been very disappointed with our last two purchases.
