I bought a diamond wedding ring 18 months ago and it has been returned three times to manufacture because the diamonds keep falling out and there has been no proper apology or offer of a refund despite the ring being faulty. Although it’s benign fixed again, I am without my ring for two months.

WOULDN'T BUY FROM AGAIN!!!!!!!! Brought a engagement ring that broke within six weeks because of a manufacturing defect, and was only offered a cheap fix no refund, replacement or vouchers. Customer services are absolutely useless and rude.... wouldn't recommend at all.

Despite saying they were going to phone when my ring came in, my wife luckily noticed an email in her junk file saying it had arrived.we went to collect it only to find it didn't fit because the wrong size had been sent. They messed about for 15 minutes then sent us away still non the wiser when the correct size ring will arrive

Rude staff member. I got mis-sold the insurance. Went into store today to collect replacement and the staff member was looking at me like I was beneath her. Pulling a face whilst I had my back turned looking at stock in the mirrored cabinet whilst waiting. Will never shop with this store again

Took my wife’s ring in to get fixed on 15th August 2023 due accidental damage. They said it would be fixed in a couple of weeks, here were are 5th October and I’m still waiting. No one can tell me where my ring is or if it’s even been fixed. They don’t answer the phone which meant me visiting the store on multiple occasions only to be told they don’t have any updates. Promises of calls never made. I even bought a watch 2 weeks after taking the ring in and I had to return to store 3 times due to no charger then wrong charger then it wouldn’t work. I called head office and left a voicemail for a callback, they said callback within 24 hours, still no call. Shocking customer service. Where is my ring !

I took my gold bracelet in tobe fixed was told someone would be in touch about the price and when to collect it that was 3 weeks ago and I havnt heard nothing very poor customer relations

I went into to get the battery changed on two of my expensive watches. They do not have any watch mechanics in store it is the sales assistance that repair and replace the batteries that work in the store. Both my expensive watches came back with the back scratched and have now devalued. Don't use the store if you have expensive watches go somewhere else and use a watch mechanic. The customer service was appalling when asked the sales assistant why have my watches been scratched I got a reply "saying there will get scratched it can't be helped".

Returned some earrings because the enamel had fallen out and was told they needed to be sent to Head office who then refused to replace them as they said they were damaged. The earrings had somehow been crushed in transit so no wonder they said they’d been damaged !! The store then said the earrings had to be sent back again for assessment !! This was only rectified once an email complaint had been sent to Head Office who agreed to replace them. Very disappointing that Store managers are unable to make decisions and the customer has to wait for weeks while items are sent away to be looked at. Head office then send an email asking how their customer service was but can’t even spell my name correctly. My email complaint was dealt with and rectified quickly but I shouldn’t have needed to go down that route in the first place. Not the best customer service experience if I’m honest.

I put my wife’s wedding ring in and you lost it. The manager couldn’t have cared less. It was our twenty fifth anniversary. I will never use you again.

I recently bought a pair of earrings for my goddaughter. She was extremely happy with them and thought they were very expensive and therefore worried about wearing them daily. On her third wear, whilst at a dance competition, she noticed a stone had fallen out one of the earrings. This was really upsetting for her and her mum contacted me to take back the faulty earrings. I took them back to the shop expecting an apology for the inconvenience and a replacement. Instead, she was accused of squeezing the stone out the the earring. I would love to know how easy that is. Apart from the loss of the stone, the earrings were in pristine condition, you could tell they had barely been touched. I was very reluctant to leave the shop without my replacement as I was shocked at the accusation and the policy to send them away. To F Hinds it’s a £35 pair of earrings, to an 11 year girl it was her loved and expensive birthday present that she was devastated had broken. After 2 weeks, I received an email to say my repair was ready. When I returned to the shop the earrings were exchanged for a new pair. Something they absolutely could and should have done when I first returned the earrings. No apology for the faulty product, the accusation that she had deliberately squeezed the stone from its setting or the wait without my goods whilst they still had my money. Overall, terrible service. I went to F Hinds as I was looking for a quality product that she could wear daily. She’d only recently had her ears pierced so this was the first pair she had got (aside from the ones provided at piercing which were causing her discomfort). Her mum had to buy another pair of earrings so that her piercings didn’t heal in the meantime. I haven’t returned many faulty products before however this was the worst experience I’ve ever had dealing with faulty goods.

I went into the store tried on a ring and loved it so I ordered it in my size. Went to collect it a week later got it home put it on went 3 mins down the road to show my mum for us both to notice the ring looked like it had diamonds missing. On closer inspection it wasn’t diamonds missing it was gaps inbetween the diamond that were bigger on one side compared to the other so by looking at it it looks as though there are diamonds missing. (Not a great look) I put it back in the box took it back to the store where the lady looked at it and noticed what I meant right away she took it in the back to polish it to see if it was anything stuck in there came out said it wasn’t so I said I obviously don’t want a ring that you can see gives off the look of diamonds missing in one side please can I have a refund. She told me I could not have one as when she was polishing it she saw a scratch on the bottom I was shocked I had only put it on for a few minutes I asked her how the scratch could have been me and not her when she was polishing it as when it came it has sticky stuff on the bottom and she said that’s where it’s in the holder but I asked maybe if the scratch could be from her polishing it as there is no way I could have scratched it as I only put it on my finger to show my mum. Then back on the box to return it. I said you can clearly see with your own eyes the issue I have that it gives off a look of missing diamonds and said yes but there are no diamonds missing so there is no damage to the ring I said but the one I tried on prior didn’t have this? Before ordering my size. I said again you are telling me you can look at the ring and see for yourself my issue with this ring I don’t want it to look like diamonds are missing weather they are or arnt. She said let me go and speak to the manager. Went in the back and obvs told them her versions of what she thinks quickly came out and said I can’t refund you I need to send it odd for it to be checked over at head office if they can’t see anything missing then you won’t get a refund. I said I know there isn’t anything missing but you and I both can clearly see the way the ring has been made makes it look like there are some missing to the eye as the other side looks great but the one side has big gaps that make it look damaged. She was having none of it and sent it off to head office (didn’t even need to ask me what side it was as you can clearly see) I now have to wait over a month for a decision. Absolutely disgusting customer service this is the first thing I have had for myself in over 10 years and I was so excited. I’m now so upset. The fact she could see what I meant and still refused is just disgusting. Will never purchase from here again.

We paid for gift wrapping and payment taken. The items were just put in a bag (no wrapping on them) and a small piece of tissue paper put on. That is not gift wrapping. We feel totally ripped off
