Went into your store in York designer outlet I asked to view a bracelet that was £399 after trying it on I said I wanted to buy it . I was with two other members of my family and was paying cash . One of my family members over heard two members of staff saying oh no they are paying with cash as though I was doing something wrong . I was just given the bracelet in a box with my receipt and no bag to place it in I only had with me a small Handbag so I asked for a bag the assistant was quiet put out saying she only had big bags to which I said I had no where to put it so could I please have the bag . £399 I spent if the bracelet was not for a present I would have walked out and spent my money somewhere else .

I bought an alarm clock for £15. I said yes to a a cardboard gift box and was billed £21.98 Nearly £7 for a gift box , they’re having a laugh! Didn’t realise until I got home that I’d been charged for two gift boxes (only got one)-feel a right mug. I’ll never go there again!

Firstly I must say, my input is not against your store staff, as they were very helpful. I purchased in June a pair of earrings costing £175, that had a glittery band in the centre, it turned out that this was only a glued-on piece of glittery tape, a bit of a con. I took them back to the store for repair, when I collected them today nothing had been done, albeit they offered me 25% off another purchase. they could of at least glued the band back on. what makes it worse is that these were purchased from an inheritance, I think this may be my last purchase at Hinds, very disappointed.

I was informed I would get a 10 off in my next purchase. The voucher code to receive the 10 off will only be sent to my email and the timeline is unknown. It's been 3 weeks since I purchased. Unfortunately, this is preventing me from buying gifts for my family on time. This process is slow and needs to be quick so customers can buy products quickly.

The initial experience from a sales perspective was great, however ever since then it's been extremely poor. A ring I purchased required a re-size. 3 weeks later (after being told it would take a week) and multiple calls later, we still do not have the ring. Staff seem extremely passive and seem to not have any urgency considering the price of the ring and the sentimental value of it. Again, the sales process was fine and helpful. Everything since has been below-par and extremely disappointing. The ring is beautiful however if I could re-purchase I would avoid F.Hinds.

BOUGHT A PAIR OR SILVER HOOP EARRINGS. THE SALES ASSISTANT WAS LOVELY AND SHOWED ME THEM, (SHOWING HOW THE HINGE WORKS) WHEN I GOT HOME A FEW HOURS LATER I OPENED THE BOX TO FIND ONE OF THEM (HINDGE) WAS MISS SHAPED I RETURNED TO THE SHOP TO BE TOLD THEY NEEDED TO BE SENT TO HEAD OFFICE AND WOULD TAKE ABOUT 3-4 WEEKS. AS HAD NO PHONE CALL I RETURNED TO THE SHOP TO BE TOLD I COULD ONLY HAVE 25% ANYTHING IN SHOP. NOT THINKING (i THOUGHT EXCHANGE AND PAY THE DIFFERENCE) I ENDED UP ACTUALLY BUYING A MORE EXPENSIVE PAIR. SO ENDED UP PAYING WAY MORE THAN INTENDED...AND HAVING TO KEEP THE BADLY MADE ORIGINALS.....BUT ALL TOO MUCH OF A FUSS SO SORRY WONT BE BACK....SHAME.

Very disappointing experience. I took my working watch to the shop for a battery replacement and it came out broken. My watch mysteriously developed a fault while it was in the shop, but the staff would not take any responsibility for it. I would give a rating of no stars, if I could.

I bought a diamond wedding ring 18 months ago and it has been returned three times to manufacture because the diamonds keep falling out and there has been no proper apology or offer of a refund despite the ring being faulty. Although it’s benign fixed again, I am without my ring for two months.

WOULDN'T BUY FROM AGAIN!!!!!!!! Brought a engagement ring that broke within six weeks because of a manufacturing defect, and was only offered a cheap fix no refund, replacement or vouchers. Customer services are absolutely useless and rude.... wouldn't recommend at all.

Despite saying they were going to phone when my ring came in, my wife luckily noticed an email in her junk file saying it had arrived.we went to collect it only to find it didn't fit because the wrong size had been sent. They messed about for 15 minutes then sent us away still non the wiser when the correct size ring will arrive
