“I was delighted by the service and delivery of our Christmas rolled and stuffed turkey with all the trimmings. Having never ordered from Farmison before nor cooked anything other than a whole turkey on Christmas Day, I can highly recommend them both. Great service, delicious, juicy, flavoursome turkey and tasty trimmings. I’ll definitely be ordering more in 2024.”

“3-bird roast worked superbly - tbh I was a bit put out that it was actually 60% duck and only 15% turkey,and just 10% pheasant but presumably I must have missed the detail on the page - tasted v good. The beef wellington was even better, incredible beef. Very good service.”

“'First time buyer' and a very pleased one. I bought the easy-to-carve, stuffed duck for Christmas. The meat was good, but it took so long to cook and rest, before being carved. I put the leftovers in the fridge and realised that it could have been cooked the day before. When cold, it was so easy to carve and it was as good just warmed up in the microwave. I might buy it again and will just cook it the day before it's needed.”

“I ordered Beef Wellington. It came with a red wine sauce,a potato dish, and a rather splendid resting rack and board, which was the best bit of the order, sadly. The red wine sauce was inedible, extraordinarily sweet but otherwise tastless. We binned it. The potatoes tasted good. But they were over cooked on arrival, and quite broken up, so would never have absorbed all the sauce if I had followed the cooking time. As for the Wellington, although it looked lovely, I was very disappointed. It arrived partially defrosted, with the bottom a shocking mess with leaking juice. There was no cooking instructions with it, so I followed the instructions online, exactly, and using a meat thermometer. The bottom pastry simply did not cook. The beef was dry, and overcooked. I shall not be ordering again.”

“I ordered a turkey crown in advance of Christmas, it was delivered exactly on time professionally packed. The cooking instructions on-line were very clear and easy to follow and worked perfectly. The turkey itself was lovely, nice and moist and had a wonderful flavour, all in all a great success and there was plenty left for cold on Boxing Day.”

“Extremely disappointing customer service. I missed the banner for selecting delivery date at the start of my shop and inadvertently placed my order for delivery within the next couple of days when I wanted the meat for Christmas. I immediately emailed to cancel the order and received an automatic reply to confirm receipt but the order was processed and despite me calling to discuss before despatch Farmison was unable prevent despatch. I received the order on 12 December and had to throw away food to make space in the freezer. Cannot recommend as a company to do business with. Massively disappointing customer service, but the produce was good.”

“I had the easy carve duck with brandy soaked winter fruits for Christmas dinner, and it was excellent! One of the yummiest and easiest to cook ducks I have ever had! Highly recommend.”

“Delivered on time for Christmas, cooked great tasted even better! Would like to see more stuffing options, last year's apricot stuffing was lovely, sage and onion this year was tasty also. Fed family of 4 with decent leftovers. 👍”

“Very disappointed with the turkey which arrived frozen, all other meats fresh and lovely. When I complained I was told I was wrong despite there being icicles inside the turkey 2 days after it was delivered. This meant I cooked it for an extra hour to ensure it was safe drying out the breast meat. Still waiting reply”
