“The Ox tongue was so very disappointing! I boil & press my own tongue & there is absolutely NO comparison. On the terrine there was so much very tough gelatine as to make it almost impossible to eat & the colour of the tongue was grey rather than the deep red of the home pressed tongue! However the 5 rib of beef was fabulous & would buy again!”

“Could be the best turkey I've ever had at Christmas. So moist, so tasty, so meltingly scrumptious. Easy to cook, easy to carve, so, so, so easy to eat! I was worried when it arrived that there wasn't going to be enough, but for 5 people just half of this provided enough meat (although I did do beef, gammon and venison with it 🤣). That said there would easily have been enough for 6 possibly 8 with no other meats. Seems pricey, but oh my God, you get what you pay for, well worth it.”

“Have had the most awful experience with Farmisons - they are almost impossible to communicate with . Their meat is truly excellent but no communication at all exists with the company which I think is inexcusable when running a company. I ordered a turkey and Christmas trimmings and a small rib of beef and had no confirmation at all - tried to call, got nowhere so ordered again - again got no confirmation and again could not get hold of anyone so I ordered from another company. A few days ago two turkeys and two lots of what I had ordered turned up and I again tried to contact Farmisons but got nowhere after hanging on to the phone for literally hours.”

“Disappointing for our first Farmison order. The red wine sauce is sent out in a flimsy envelope which had split and made a mess of other items in the delivery. Likewise the container for the red cabbage was damaged and the cabbage was oozing out. You need better packaging and a new delivery company. Poor effort. I may not order again.”

“I had a good experience ordering a large amount of food for Christmas last year but this year has been a mess. My order this year was terribly packaged and, as a result, the gravy I had ordered had exploded and one of the packs of meat had split. The spilt liquid had compromised the integrity of the delivery box as well. To make matters worse, DPD just dumped it outside my gate, right on the pavement. I understand that its a busy time of year but this is a premium service that you offer, and I have spent a considerable amount of money. Furthermore, I've had no reply from customer service, despite all the reviews indicating otherwise. I will definitely not be ordering my Christmas food, or anything else from here again.”

“Disappointing that I didn’t receive cooking instructions and was referred to the website and I couldn’t find it on there either! You used to send cooking instructions in the box - please go back to that”

“First time buying meat on.line.as it is for Christmas we haven't yet eaten it. The process of ordering was really easy. Delivery was on time and the produce was well packed in insulated packaging with ice packs to ensure the meat was in prime condition.”

“Great customer service, arrived exactly on time in a well packaged cool box. Nice juicy sous vide Turkey Breasts that cooked a treat in the suggested time. Just a little difficulty locating the cooking recipe on the website, a cooking card would be more useful.”

“All our meat has come from Farmisons since we discovered them ten-ish years ago, always delicious, always with impeccable provenance and deeply responsible farming values, and alway delivered efficiently, in perfect condition and at the predicted time. Yesterday we served 140 pork sausages wrapped in bacon to guests at a party, with the plum and hoisin sauce Farmisons recommended, and they were praised to the skies and vanished at terrifying speed! Yet another Farmisons triumph...”
