Poor communication regarding shipping at time of purchase stated end of February and conveniently when I chased them middle of March regarding my order they were shipped that day. On arrival the majority of bare roots already have growth which is wiltering and some bare roots when bought as a 3 the 3rd is minute in comparison. Ordered from here previously with no issues so not sure what’s happened it is a shame and would make me question buying from here again

Shipping times are estimated because it depends on harvest times - plants must be harvested in the correct conditions so they arrive in a viable and healthy state. As regards feedback, when you confirmed delivery by end of February when confirming the order, I expected that date to be real and made arrangements accordingly. I checked subsequently and you provided a useless bot email response. My order arrived this week when I am away for six weeks. In an age of easy communication methods, everything still depends on accurate underlying information. So accurate information in the future and an improved responsiveness to emails. Thank you

On the whole the order was fulfilled well, with the exception of Geum - Tales of Hex. I ordered 9 got 8 - some of which were really small - It would appear that they ran out of this while making up the order and split down larger plants and missed one. This was disappointing as the rest of the order was really good.

I think the Dahlias are as they should be. We will see in summer how they will bloom. But the perennials were hard to find in the bags they were sent in and are very little. I planted they the same day they arrived and I'm not sure that there will be a proper plant in spring and summer, but we will see......

I ordered some plants in January and was informed they would be delivered in February, as I was going on hols on 24 Feb I asked could they be delivered before then. This was not possible and it was agreed they would be delivered after 19th March, they were delivered on 14 th March! I'm not home until 19th, I certainly hope they will be ok til then, not happy with this

Normally very good but not quite so on this occasion - one dahlia Floorinoor was packed with just two tubers with no neck and crown, so whether this grows is anyone’s guess. One tradescantia Brainstorm arrived with all the roots disconnected from a tiny stem, so that’s now in my compost bin. Aside that the rest of my order was in very good condition.

Begonia tubers were about half the size of those in the photo (begonia apricot splendide) very disappointed, I expect them to flower, but nowhere near as big as shown. I had ordered 24 , 12 for me and 12 for my daughter, I think I will have to use all of them to get the amount of flowers expected. I did complain and was told they were of a typical size, my question then is why show them much bigger? First photo is for 2 bulbs from their website, second photo is 3 bulbs taken at random from delivery. Some were slightly bigger some smaller. I am 5’2” female.

Die Nacktwurzler haben eine sehr gute Qualität, würde ich immer wieder bestellen! Mit den Dahlienknollen bin ich leider überhaupt nicht zufrieden. Sie wurden so eingepackt, dass mindestens die Hälfte beim Versand abgebrochen ist und sehr viele Teile abgeschnitten werden mussten. Das ist super schade!

Hallo, Dahlienknollen können sehr empfindlich sein und während der Ernte leicht beschädigt werden. Gebogene Knollen, die am Ansatz rissig erscheinen, kommen häufig vor und beeinträchtigen die Pflanzen in der Regel nicht. Wenn Sie uns Fotos der betroffenen Knollen zukommen lassen, können wir diese beurteilen, Ihnen Gewissheit über das Wachstum geben oder gegebenenfalls Ersatz veranlassen. I put in two separate orders for bare root perennials, which arrived together, so have worked hard to soak and pot on the plants. all seem to have good root balls, Verbena bonariensis plants were variable in quality, hopefully weaker ones will catch up, overall am pleased with my plants

Ordering and notifications is first class. My plants all arrived on time. But unfortunately most of the new shoots were so fragile they broke off in transit, leaving me with roots and new shoots separate Very upset.

The Kudo Pink, especially, were not good quality, a lot of brown/mouldy leaves. The blue and white were a bit better.

In a previous order I had a lot of motley bulbs. And although the customer service is very good, the replacements were also moldy. My most recent order for Dahlias, one of the corns was just one gnarled piece. I doubt it will grow. On another order the plants were very small specimens. So my experiences have been hit and miss.

I would not buy again ‘bare rooted’ as they arrive in plastic bags and have to be potted. Now I have to find pots and somewhere to keep them until they can be planted out….

Hello, Dahlia tubers are naturally different shapes and sizes, often a tuber which appears small will still grow into a full-size flowering plant. Ordered Clematis 'New Love'. I had expected something a little more substantial than the tiny root sent. I had difficulty locating it in the bag of compost. It is now potted in the compost it was sent in and I hope will shoot, if not you will be hearing from me! £12.75 is excessive for such a tiny piece of plant material, by the time p&p was added it came to over £17.00. Considerably more than I would normally pay for a well-grown potted plant from a nursery. Disappointing, expected better. Steve Howe
