I’ve order quite a lot of plants and they were all squished in to two boxes. They should’ve been sent in 4 boxes. One of the boxes was quite big and heavy so all the plants on the bottom are damaged and squished. Not happy.

Plants arrived very well and protectively packaged. All seem alive but weak, etiolated and bleached. Have potted up and most are doing well - probably only lost one Tricyrtis but early days as yet. Currently in a cold greenhouse through this cold snap. Two out of three Geum Princess Juliana doing well ..

I get about a 50% success rate with Farmer Gracy. Whether bare roots or bulbs, sometimes they work sometimes they don’t.

No issue with product, but made two separate orders quite close together and as such they did get delivered together. However, did still get charged two lots of p&p - which is a shame as if I'd put only one order in the total would have been enough to qualify for free p&p.

Delivery was quicker this time round compared to when I've placed order before. I ordered about 8 bare roots, however, one of the roots was however very small, almost not there. I was a little disappointed but I'm hoping that it will develop a shoot soon.

Most of the plants bulbs etc.have been brilliant - however I bought some gladiolus byzantinus and 3 martagon lilies all have died ! I have purchased more gladiolus byzantinus from you and hope to be more successful with new corms

Bare root plants are a nightmare for me. Lots if roots and in one case, just a piece of bark. No roots or buds.. won’t be trying my luck with these tiny creatures again . Will wait fir 2 weeks to see if any plants emerge

I ordered bare root perennials. I was a little concerned about the length of time they were in transit. (Despatched 14.3. 25 and received 21.3.25). They all looked very dried out. Despite an enormous amount of TLC, 2 of the 7 different varieties have definitely not survived. 2 of the remainder are looking “touch and go”. I am glad to see the rest are now showing signs of growth.

Some items are excellent some not so good. Bought 9 dahlia tubers and 6 are growing well in indoor tubs atm. 1 is OK and 2 just haven't started and the tuber is now squashy... Sincerity and Catching Fire.

Hello, We're sorry to hear that there are concerns regarding the growth of some of the dahlias. They generally take around 4-6 weeks to begin sprouting. When they start to sprout depends on many factors, like the stage in the season, temperatures and the variety. The larger dinner plate varieties may take longer to sprout, up to 8 weeks from planting. Very few bulbs are showing any buds but we’ll see . I ordered some bare root plants of which 3 were Nelly Mosa clematis. You describe them as 3 pips which I’ve never heard of before. I only received 1 bare root NM clematis but paid for 3. What’s going on ? I’ve always been happy with previous deliveries!

Items delayed which wasn’t Farmer Gracy’s fault, however having sent a message 3 days ago expressing concern about bare root plants not being planted out in time after despatch, I have still not heard back from Farmer Gracy. The plants have since arrived and I very quickly soaked them and planted them as per the instructions, so hopefully no lasting damage done. Packaging was good, instructions also good. I know it’s a busy time for these guys so let’s just hope the bare roots grow into nice healthy plants!

Your bulbs etc aren’t always in good shape. They come mouldy or nothing grows from them. The sizes are different. If they are like 15 bulbs of one colour, sometimes once it grows they are different colours. I have been buying plants from you over the last 6 years and over all not impressed with the quality. One needs to wait to see what grows if anything out of it and by then it’s too late to complain, get in touch. It’s putting me off from buying bulbs
