I’ve always enjoyed buying from FG but lately I’ve experience a reduced quality of some bulbs, some although planted has not come up, which is disappointing.

I ordered several plants from the sale, but only about 50% of them were viable. I guess this is because it was late in the season and they should have been planted earlier. It's disappointing, because although sale items, they still cost me money. However, it's kind of understandable.

Cette plante est aussi géniale qu’envahissante, même pour vos voisins ! Elle se re sème de manière exponentielle chez vous et… chez vos voisins… Au demeurant, elle s’installe même dans 3 mm de terre en plein soleil et sans eau ! Et ne demande aucun entretien, sauf une taille après la floraison qui est beaucoup plus longue que ce que vous annoncez, si vous souhaitez non pas empêcher qu’elle se re sème, mais juste limiter cela. C’est très joli et romantique le long d’un mur en pierre, ce que j’ai, obtenu par les graines des fleurs de mes voisins qui ont volé et se sont installées chez moi. 👍 Elle s’installe partout maintenant et c’est trop…

very sad to say that at least half of the lovely plants I ordered were unwrapped carefully, planted within a few hours of arrival , have not thrived and have died 😒 very disappointing and doubt i will order from farmer gracy again as complete waste of money

Only 2 developed.They are coming on nicely.One was already snapped .The other 2 didn’t survive.You can’t beat this firm for bulbs.You are spoiled for choice.

I had a few questions before ordering which the team answered quickly and gave me the confidence to place my order. Flowers and bulbs arrived on time and in good packaging. They all looked quite healthy apart from 1 variety which just looked like a bit of branch. I planted all the roots as instructed but the one that looked like a branch haven’t grown. I raised this via the online help and sent photos but haven’t received any response. Feels like customer service post sale is non existent.

Hi bought a Miscanthus Red Lady a month ago when it was delivered delivered planted it watered it and it died I thought it was not very healthy when I got it, so I contacted Farmer Grady who replaced it when that came it looked a bit better there was a few green shoots on the plant ,with it being bare root I thought ho this will be all right but no the same thing as happened very dissapointed I had all ready sent a photo of the plant

I have bought lots from this company and have been mostly happy - bought 4 dahlias and only two have grown - I emailed them and failed to receive a response which was disappointing - had hoped for better

I really want to say firstly that FG products are great! But the alstroemerias I received have not been at all successful. I made sure I planted correctly being a meticulous person who loves the garden. I love alstroemerias and so wanted them to be a success. Out of the six ordered only two have shown any sign of life.

Delivery, packaging all fine. Bought 4 dahlia tubers, 3 have sprouted one has not. The dahlia Cafe au lait has failed to produce even a single green shoot. They have all had the same treatment. Any suggestions? A replacement would be much appreciated. Thank you

Hello, Thank you for your review. The larger dinner plate dahlias can sometimes take longer to sprout. We recommend that you check just beneath the soil surface to see any eyes are starting to develop. If it is yet to show signs of small buds developing around the tubers or if the tubers are turning soft then please kindly contact us so we can replace this dahlia for you. After recieving many orders over the years and all been good, the last order I received had 4 plants which were dead, 3 of which were all 1 item. I have emailed twice now but as yet have not received a reply. After years of buying plants from this company I am very disappointed with the quality of the root plants and will not buy from them again if they don't reply.

I have received a few orders now from Farmer Gracy all has been good. On this occasion one of the 5 large bulbs I received recently was mouldy so I have emailed twice asking for a replacement bulb to be sent. I have heard nothing since.

I've been buying bulbs and roots for a few years now. Every year I say I won't buy anymore. My success rate is not great, specially with roots. Not all of them survive. Can't say it's FG or my fault but sometimes you can tell straight away the root is not good as soon as you open the box. They look rotten, as if they had been in water for a long time. Could be the delivery time to Ireland? I don't know for sure. So, overall my experience is a mixed one.

The delivery of the order was as expected. I have bought bare root plants online before but these from Farmer Gracy were embrionic in size. I didn't expect to be delivered beanshoots. I have planted them into pots as instructed. We will have to see how they get on, but I wouldn't buy this way again.

Hello, Caladiums usually take around 1-3 months to sprout in warm conditions (around 20C or above), they are tropical and must be started indoors. The bulbs should be planted very shallowly (no deeper than 1-2cm below the soil surface) with the knobblier/rougher side facing upwards and the smoother side facing downwards. https://www.farmergracy.co.uk/blogs/planting-care/caladium-planting-instructions If you are concerned that the bulbs have become soft then please feel free to reach out to the team and they will be happy to assist. My first time buying from this site and was happy with delivery but unfortunately out of the 18 begonia corms I ordered only 6 have produced shoots. I treated them all the same so can’t u derstand why so many have failed.

Please note that they are not frost hardy so will need to be started off in a greenhouse or indoors in spring before they can be planted outdoors from May onwards.
