The attention to detail from sturdy and effective shipping packaging to the quality product and planting advice enclosed is excellent. However, having ordered a bare root product packed in 5s, I received a bag containing 3. Customer service was again excellent with quick response and remedial action issuing a repeat of that item to be delivered quickly - that indeed was. The kicker: the replacement x5 bag contained only 2. I'm happy to have the 5 originally ordered, but the production of multiple bagged items clearly has pitfall issues for 5/10 roots to be shipped over what amounts to two separate orders. Had the replacement been a full count, 5* rating would be given based on quality, service speed and effective customer service.

Disappointed. I ordered Tabasco bulbs. The size stated was 32 / 34 cm. They looked a little small so I measured one, 27 cm at most. Not as good as I purchased from Sarah Raven last year.

Hello, Bulb sizes are approximate and supplied to us in size categories, each year and each harvest will yield bulbs of different sizes due to weather conditions, sometimes larger than expected and sometimes smaller. The measurement provided is based on an average size for their years of maturity - we do not measure our bulbs but try to keep all information up to date from season to season so we appreciate you letting us know there may be a size difference. Great products with speedy delivery service BUT they’re leaving me with a negative attitude because the volume of junk mail that follows coupled with either a slow or unresponsive UNSUBSCRIBE mechanism, means I get daily irritations popping into my inbox. They should reall re-think this marketing strategy or reduce it as more specific targeting less often

Evri the delivery service do not respond to complaints about their service which is appalling. I will be unable to order anything from you if you continue to use them. The driver left my box of plants on a plant and crushed it. I suggest you use other delivery services

Receive my bulbs and everything seems ok and good for now. Come the spring when hopefully they start growing are will be able to give a more accurate review. This review has been sent for me to fill before I know how good the product is.

Bulbs look great - plump and healthy. Other plants a bit more hit and miss. Scabious arrived rather worse for wear (2/6 look dead) and I’m hoping for the best with bare root echinops (won’t really know until next spring so too early to comment).

Some bulbs have given a magnificent show and others have been hugely disappointing. One packet of bulbs was completely withered last year and many of the smaller bulbs disappointed.

It would have been ok if they never used Evri , as they just leave parcels on the doorstep without ringing the bell or knocking the door,so everything was soaking wet!!

If any bulbs arrive wet then please open the packs and allow them to dry off on a tray or similar, in a well ventilated but cool location. They will not be affected by becoming wet, and allowing to dry off will prevent any mould developing. If you find that any are in a poor condition then please do let us know. In May 2025 I bought ten different bare root perennials from Farmer Gracy, one of which was meant to be a 3 bare root multiple. I planted them all immediately on delivery as per the instructions on the site. Of the ten, one (a Monarda) has not shown any sign of life. One item (the Pennisetum "Red Head") seems to have come up just as Common Crab Grass and so is not the correct root. The other observation is that the Echinacea Mellow Yellow 3x bare roots was about the same amount of root volume as the single Echinacea Virgin that I also bought just separated into 3 bits. I get the impression I should have just bought a single bare root of this. So of 10 items bought two have basically failed and 1 was a bit of a disappointment, but the other 7 are doing ok.
