I've been buying bulbs and roots for a few years now. Every year I say I won't buy anymore. My success rate is not great, specially with roots. Not all of them survive. Can't say it's FG or my fault but sometimes you can tell straight away the root is not good as soon as you open the box. They look rotten, as if they had been in water for a long time. Could be the delivery time to Ireland? I don't know for sure. So, overall my experience is a mixed one.

Hello, We're sorry to hear that you have had mixed success with the plants received from us. Bare roots should all have some shoots on arrival which continue to grow after they are potted. If any of the plants appear to be undersized or in poor condition (without shoots/buds), please send an email to customercare@farmergracy.com, including a photo if possible, and one of the team will be happy to resolve any issues. The delivery of the order was as expected. I have bought bare root plants online before but these from Farmer Gracy were embrionic in size. I didn't expect to be delivered beanshoots. I have planted them into pots as instructed. We will have to see how they get on, but I wouldn't buy this way again.

I bought Caladium from Farmer Gracy....we shared it with my friends.....not one of them sprouted, not one..... Slėpti citatą

Hello, Caladiums usually take around 1-3 months to sprout in warm conditions (around 20C or above), they are tropical and must be started indoors. The bulbs should be planted very shallowly (no deeper than 1-2cm below the soil surface) with the knobblier/rougher side facing upwards and the smoother side facing downwards. https://www.farmergracy.co.uk/blogs/planting-care/caladium-planting-instructions If you are concerned that the bulbs have become soft then please feel free to reach out to the team and they will be happy to assist. My first time buying from this site and was happy with delivery but unfortunately out of the 18 begonia corms I ordered only 6 have produced shoots. I treated them all the same so can’t u derstand why so many have failed.

Hello, Thank you for your review. Begonias can sometimes take a surprising amount of time to come out of dormancy. Please note that they are not frost hardy so will need to be started off in a greenhouse or indoors in spring before they can be planted outdoors from May onwards. Please feel free to send an email to customercare@farmergracy.com with further information regarding the planting conditions and one of the team will be happy to assist. I have used Farmer Gracy a number of times and have been very happy with the quality. Unfortunately my most recent delivery included some very small plants which were quite substandard. The majority of the plants were acceptable hence my 'acceptable' rating.

received flower bulb much too small, i guess its because it was in the reduction. Previous ones was not in the reduction which i purchase some were big and some small when i did purchase for big ones. so please keep an eye on what you send to me. lets hope this year they will be the envy of my neighbours. I usually buy my plants from QVC AND RETURNED IF NOT SATISFIED WITH NO QUESTIONS ASK. BUT A FRIEND INTRODUCE ME TO YOU.

The flower bulbs that I got were excellent quality. However I got roses in a different delivery all were packed securely in plastic wrap over the roots two of them were completely dried out and died. Recently I got some clematis the plants were very weak and packed in very dry compost. I also was missing one plant. Therefore I probably won’t be buying anything except bulbs ( which have always been excellent quality) in future.

My plants and bulbs sat in a warehouse for 8 days after being despatched, so all of them had started to grow in the box, half the lilies arrived with broken stems. It took them over a day to respond to my email requesting an update, despite getting a marketing email every single day, which isn't really necessary for a plant supplier. I want to like this company, but you need to do better.

I purchased 6 begonias, only 4 survived and all were treated exactly the same. I have just received 9 delphinium, 3 of which are in a bad way and probably will not survive. It may be your courier or perhaps the quality of plants you supply.

Hello, We're sorry to hear that there is a discrepancy with this order on arrival. Dahlia tubers can be quite fragile and during harvest they can suffer light damage. Bent tubers which appear cracked where they join the neck are common and this won't usually have an impact on the performance of the plant. We endeavour to respond to all emails within 48 business hours, we apologise if you have not received a response. Can I kindly request that you check your junk/spam folder just in case. Though the variety and prices are compatible at Farmer Gracy, the quality especially of the dahlia tubers is not great. I ordered some last year and some were so broken that they did not sprout and the rest were quite weak and only a couple produced flowers. I decided to give them another chance this year and again a few of the tubers were so damaged that they did not sprout. The customer service however is very friendly and I got replacements for some of the tubers that were still in stock, we'll see if those are viable. Next year I'll try to find another source of better quality tubers.

Latest bulb I bought appears to be hollow and I don't hold out much hope of it materialising into anything which will be a big disappointment after spending £9 on it.
