Anything I have bought from this website only has a 50/50 chance of survival. Grape Hyacinth bulbs have done very well, tulips were dreadful and one variety in particular haven't opened at all, stalks very spindly. I have bought some miniature hosta so hope these might do better. Not sure I'll bother ordering again if they fail. I always follow the instructions provided to the letter and end up being disappointed time and time again!

The dahlias bulbs were verry dry and I recived only one bulb with bulbs on. The other two were only steams with some dry roots on. I have plant them to see if there is going to be any flowers from them. Thats from the Kick off dahlias. The other dahlias I recieved were better; but Im not going to order more dahlias because of the conditions. Very small bulbs. And its very expencive for what I got as a costumer. I have ordered a lots of plants, bulbs and tulips, narcisser from you over the past years; but this time the quality wasnt so good like they have been before.

I ordered three plants, two yellow and one purple. One pack of the yellow did not contain a plant just compost. the second yellow contained some growth ut just one tuber attached. The purple had 6 tubers. I am so disappointed with my latest purchase.

Package was damaged in transit. One of three bare root plants had several healthy stems broken off. One had no sign of life and one was perfect

My Lucky Number daffodils are ok, although some haven’t flowered and a around 10% were diseased and couldn’t be planted. My anemones have failed to appear at all and although my dahlia tubers arrived in reasonable condition, there is still no sign of life from them. I hope this changes soon.

I put in a very large order at the beginning of February and received it late. It was obviously packed well before shipping, at least in part, and sent off before the Easter holiday where it was in transit for over 5 days. As it was late and tightly packed many of the plants had suffocated. Some of the bags were empty. Some root balls were rotten, some too tiny to be viable. One or two bags were missing completely. I reached out to the company and the onus has been put on me to supply photographic proof. With approximately 80 plants to unwrap in a hurry I was obviously unable to take the time to photograph everything but did inventory as they came out of the box. Not happy with the reply that they would like to “help” me but I need to provide photos. I have some very irate videos but no time to edit that. General feeling… for an order over 600€ service should be a little more effective… so disappointed. 😢

Bare-rooted plants in horrible contorted shapes and difficult to plant. Many already shooted with shoots snapped off in transit. Nothing like I expected. Would have preferred potted plants! Really disappointing!

Hello, We are sorry to hear that you are disappointed with the order you have received. We only supply bare roots/ bulbs/ tubers ready for potting. Bare root plants are naturally different shapes and sizes and the roots will continue to grow after planting. Providing the bare root plants have buds or shoots, they should continue thrive after they're potted up. If you have any concerns regarding the condition of the items received then please feel free to email customercare@farmergracy.com with further details so we can assist. Hello, We are sorry to hear that some items have arrived in a poor condition and that the replacements have also sustained some damage. Dahlia tubers can be quite fragile and during harvest they can suffer light damage. Bent tubers which appear cracked where they join the neck are common and this won't usually have an impact on the performance of the plant. If any dahlias appear severely damaged, with multiple broken tubers which are barely attached, please get back to us so we can arrange some more replacements for you. Ordered the XXL Alba African Lily for £27. The clump in the picture appeared to be a huge chunk of rootball so truly deserved the description XXL. Then it arrived I thought it must have been a mistake. The roots could neatly fit in a 2 litre pot. If I wanted a 2 litre pot I could buy one for £12-15 at the garden centre and have flowers a lot sooner. Disappointed.

Hello, We're sorry to hear that the bare root received was smaller than expected. They do vary in shape and size however, they should correspond to the size outlined on the website. Please send an email to customercare@farmergracy.com so we can investigate and advise accordingly. All the best, Farmer Gracy Customer Care

Ordered 3 hosta which arrived as one clump to be separated. Unnecessary paper products enclosed but that’s a personal preference .

Very disappointed with my recent bare root alstroemeria roots: one plant had a few tubers attached but the other two had only one tubers with others loose in the compost. Followed instructions and planted the day they arrived and the better plant has signs of growth but nothing for other two pots.

The plants received were poor with very little plant in each pack.It would be better to grow them on to a reasonable size before dispatch.

Hello, We supply bulbs are bare root perennials, bare roots are not potted prior to dispatch but should be potted on delivery instead. They should all have some shoots on arrival which continue to grow after they are potted. If any of the plants appear to be undersized or in poor condition (without shoots/buds), please send an email to customercare@farmergracy.com, including a photo if possible, and one of the team will be happy to resolve any issues. Disappointed.... unlike previous years the bulds were avaerage garden centre size, but worst of all I had 60+% failure of the crocus bulbs (and no they weren't waterlogged at any time). It seems that Farmer Gracey your standards have dropped as the summer bare rooted plants I also bought were all over-shooted (sideways) when they arrived...looked like they had been in the bag for despatch too long.

My poor review is on delivery and not the bulbs. You used Evri to deliver, they told me they had the package but not tell me when it was going out for delivery. They left the package outside in the pouring rain and when my mother eventually found it the package had been opened. So not pleased at all with Evri

Around 50% of the order was below standard, either too small and spindly or packaged for too long and and make poor weak new growth inside the bag. I will keep all the plants except two items that I attach images of Perovskia Little Spire 2 of which are not acceptable and Geranium Intense which also has two unacceptable for which I would like credits.
