“Dry disappointed ordered plants on 22nd April said the ordered was getting put together on the same day and nothing since. And when I sent message told it would be several weeks for a reply.”

“I’ve had a really positive experience with Farmer Gracie so far. The website is easy to use and everything is clearly explained, which made ordering straightforward. What really stood out was the customer service. I needed to cancel an order and emailed them. It was handled immediately and the refund came through within minutes. I’ve genuinely never had such a fast, efficient response from any company. I’ve only just started planting, so it’s a bit early to fully comment on how everything performs in the garden, but the bulbs and roots arrived well packaged and in good condition. Based on my experience so far, I’d definitely order from them again. My only complaint is that I want to buy everything and don’t have enough room to plant it all!”

“I ordered this plant as a bare root a couple of years ago. It is now coming into full maturity. It is a beautiful addition to my garden and the creamy yellow flowers sit well alongside blue Camassia. A stunning Geum.”

“Purchased ten bare root perennials in early April for delivery in late April. Sadly by 1st of May had not even heard back from farmer Gracy. I contacted them only to be told that my order was soon to be processed and would be put out for shipping in three or four days. This would have meant receiving the plants a month or so later, which in our part of the UK was a bit to late hence we had to cancel the order.”

“Bought from FG a few times now. Everything always arrives in good condition and only a few days from dispatch to arrival in the UK. I have made mistakes before though, by not opening the box immediately on arrival due to work commitments and not having enough compost or pots, then finding myself in a situation where I’m having to delicately navigate bare roots that have sprouted in the wrong directions so to speak and with mixed success. This time I made sure I was home on delivery day and ready with compost and plenty of pots of various sizes in order to immediately do the work which took me literally all day and into the following morning for approximately 25 individual plants, so my advice to anyone is be prepared! Helped by the perfect weather these last couple of weeks, literally everything is doing fantastically. Some had sprouted a little on route which is only to be expected considering my relatively late spring purchase and had to be dealt with immediately so I’m glad I was ready this time. This weekend I’ll be moving some of the further ahead plants into their permanent locations and may even get a decent show later this summer. Plants I’ve bought in previous years are really doing well now. As with everything it’s a learning curve with much trial and error but I’m at the point of understanding what works in my garden and what doesn’t. Now I just need more room haha 😅”
