As someone with 40 years experience growing plants from seeds and propagation I find this experience galling. Why? They constantly bombard with daily promotions whilst ignoring contact emails about problems from customers who purchased. Showing a constant stream of 'selling plants' when searching on the site they churn out plants, not bare root but rather barely any roots!! Dead and weak plants, likely already dead or doomed before packaging with 40% dead or hardly existent, 60% live plants, of which many were poor and unlikely to grow. I would prefer a response to the issues regarding this first purchase, which turned out costly due to a very poor return. I emailed the company on the 26th May and again at the start of June, I believe I gave a respectable amount of time (3-4 weeks) for the plants to show any sign of life (just a piece of root in some cases) and still I await a reply. Avoid and use reputable, well known UK companies!!

From 20 bare roots and 15 bulbs I only got 1. Planted everything to the letter.. I got other flowers from other companies that were all coming out and thriving.. but not from this one. A lot of time and money wasted.. I do not recommend.

I am somewhat disappointed in my order from Farmer Gracy. The quality was just not what I expected. For the price, the plants were small. I have given them a couple of months to take off. The Little Purple buddleia and limonium are doing fine but the Black Buddhist agapanthus are still sad and puny. Yes, I know they take a few years to mature but these are not as nice as those I have found elsewhere. To FG’s credit, they refunded me for the agapanthus that were dead on arrival. I was careful to follow planting for care and position but they are still struggling.

Only 2 developed.They are coming on nicely.One was already snapped .The other 2 didn’t survive.You can’t beat this firm for bulbs.You are spoiled for choice.

Received 6 bare root Delfinium, potted the as soon as arrived,seemed soft only one showed any sign of growth,and now few weeks on that the only one that's grown the others are dead not impressed

Absolutely stunning bulbs every time .I order all my spring and summer bulbs and am never disappointed with the results .Everybody comments on my displays and I also recommend farmer gracie to them .

This is reviewing Geum 'Firestarter' that I ordered at the end of April and was delivered at the start of May. The 'bare roots' were soft, with no signs of growth. I potted up straight away, but am not surprised that a month on, there is no sign of life. Have written off as a bad lot and won't be so influenced by the sale discounts next time as the plants are probably not healthy ones.

All my plants and bulbs iv received have been perfect , fast delivery all items packed well in strong boxes for shipment, already looking through for spring bulbs etc

I received the bare root irises within 3 days. I ordered 6 and was pleased to see they were packed in 3s two plastic bags with a little compost inside a box. The rhizomes were in excellent condition and all six had vigourous roots and small shoots ready to go. Excellent service. I will buy again from this company.

Somewhat dissatisfied. My order was scheduled for delivery by Evri on Sunday. No delivery. I contacted Farmer Gracy three times (it’s now Wednesday pm) and no response to date. I contacted Evri and similarly no response. As we have ordered live plants I think they will be past their best and have requested a refund - still no response.

I am delighted to of found Farmer Grace Bulbs and Flowers ..the quick delivery of unusual plants and bulbs that arrive in excellent condition and beautifully packaged. it cannot be matched by anything I have ordered in the past . I can’t wait to see how they grown in my garden .

I ordered a yellow peony from Farmer Gravy two or three years ago. Hardly any growth until this year and boy oh boy it produced three beautiful blooms, they were large and had a lovely centre. There was one dinner plate in flower two days ago but over here in Manchester we have had heavy downpours and alas it has fallen. The colour is also lovely, bright and elegant and puts a smile on your face.
